Yeah... they said they thought it was going to be discontinued because it didn't look good on most people... I think that's why the model is sitting down and twisted in the catalog... it probably didn't really look good on her either. They also said that I was too short so I shouldn't look good in it, but... I guess what I lack in height, I make up in curves, so it worked (?). Either way, the David's I went to hasn't sold that dress in ivory since I bought mine in November.

When you are in photobucket, copy the url line, then come over here and click on the yellow square with the image text box. Paste the URL in it and it will load correctly

try deleting the http:// that it puts in front of the [IMG] thing...that's what I had to do. I don't know what difference that makes but it's the only way it would work for me.

I see what you are doing wrong. You are copying the image box on photobucket. Try copying the first one, the URL line that doesn't say image in it. that is what I do and what has worked for me. Please try that and see if it works. :)

Thanks! I'm actually getting it in all white. I'm traditional too! I just can't seem to find a picture of it in white on the internet! But the ivory/gold is absolutely stunning! I would definately wear this color if I were going to wear anything but white!

Yeah it comes in a few different colors, even a rose color. No problem it's a gorgeous gown and it's even that much more beautiful in person! The designer is Maggie Sottero and the dress style is Tiffany for future reference. I am a total fan of her gowns! She has so many gorgoeous ones!

I checked out the website for Maggie Sottero and WOW! She does have tons of beautiful dresses. But I still think yours is the most beautiful one. I did like Style Catherine too though! :)

They are amazing! And to see them in person is another story! The pictures don't do them justice when you actually see them! They are so well made and fit so well! Everyone that has one says the fit is the best part! As you can see she is my fave designer! Another thing I like is the corset back! Thanks! I hope to get some pics soon! The only salon that carried it is downtown (long ways and construction and Houston traffic, really a chore to get down there) and they don't allow you to take pics :mad: So I was thinking of going back with my ***era and trying to sneak some in the dressing room! :D What are they gonna do if they catch me? :rolleyes: Not sell me the dress that they jacked up the price over $200 on? I'm not buying from them anyways! And all the consultants are snotty and rude.

Good luck with getting the pics! Hope they don't throw security at you! lol! It is a shame that the consultants at so many of these salons and chains stores are so rude. I mean, isn't service their job! You would think they would know that by now!

Your dress is beautiful. I love the color and I'm pretty sure it looks just as stunning in white. :)
