where exactly is the recption and dance to take place? my fiance and i are both from small towns. mine has a hall across the street from the church where my parents want everything to be. but my fiance wants to have the ceromony at my church then have everyone drive 15mins to where he is from and have the reception and dance at the local golf course. i feel like i am caught between the two and that what ever i decide i am going to hurt someone. my parents are paying for alot of the wedding. his parents have only said right now they would help pay for invitations. please help me

It can take place anywhere YOU want it too. Mine is like 30 mins from the church.

If your parents are paying for the wedding, then you and him should openly discuss this matter with them, he needs to be reasonable, if my fiances parents were paying for the wedding, even though i had another idea of where i would want my wedding reception, i would be considerate of there feelings and listen to them, sometimes compromise is the key here, instead of it's here or nothing

Honey it doesnt matter who's paying .. this is your day.. you and your fiancee have it where you want.. the parents will understand.. Dont let this spoil it for you.. This is supposed to be the happiest time of your life.. Enjoy it!!!
You parents should want you to be happy no matter where you want it. Tell them how you feel and see how it goes. DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE :-)
