This is indicated as a flower girl dress, but it comes in womens sizes, and only costs $68! Would it pass as an informal wedding dress??

Are you sure it comes in women's sizes? the sizes I saw on the website were junior teen sizes. My future neice for instances wears a junior 16, which isn't the same as women's sizes.

In my opinion, the dress looks very flower girly. But that is my opinion, take it for what is worth. If you love it and can get it in the right size go for it.

i think those are for childrens sizes. You might want to call and ask. However if they dont you could always go to JC Pennys, Macys, they would have stuff like that. Prom dresses. Evening dresses. And sometimes you can get them on sale. You could also wait for prom and homecoming times, they will have a bigger selection.

I checked the measurments on the sizes -- I should fit ;)

But there are sales everywhere, y'all are right. I'll keep shopping for now. Who knows what I'll find.
(I want something ultra-informal as long as it's flattering on my figure.)

I think it's a nice dress and it certainly would pass if it does come in women's sizes and if it's long enough.

You might want to try Dillard's, Nordstrom, Robinson's May... They have formal gowns for $100-200. I particularly like the dresses at Dillard's. They have extreme mark-downs sometimes where dresses can be as much as 75% off.

The standard sizes are for girls but it could be made in adult sizes as well if you wanted. Although it would be closer to $100 to do this.

They do, but what they have online isn't representative of what they have at the stores. It's best if you can get to a Dillard's and look at the racks.
Dillard's Wedding Gowns (http://www.dillards.com/endeca/EndecaStartServlet?N=1590646)

I fell in love with a dress at Dillard's and have gone back to try it on twice now, but I think I am going to finally go with a Jessica McClintock dress. I don't know. This dress shopping is soooo hard.
