I think you should consider having jazz played or hire a violin or saxophone player to play "here comes the bride" which will sound sweet and different. I did pricing around my towm and I also went back to the high school I graduated from and listened to the band director play a few songs plus his price was more reasonable than anyone else. Check out local high school band directors or local college band members because either one will have the experience and the learning ability to play anything that they know or don't know. Local bars that have live bands is also a good place to look.

Why not Consider Pachebal 5?

Pachebel's Canon in D is an excellent alternative to "Here Comes The Bride" (which is actually by Wagner, I think). "Trumpet Voluntary" is also good.
For a nice, calm, pastoral intro to a garden wedding I recomend Mozart's (? it may be Beethoven)"Where Sheep May Safely Graze" or Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring".

I think any woodwind solo or duet could make it sound unique and appropriate for an outdoorsy setting. Good luck!

If you wanted, you could have traditional wedding music arranged for different instruments and/or changed in some way to reflect your garden wedding.
Some of the same folk who compose original wedding music will also arrange existing standards to your taste. For example, check out www.weddingcompositions.com (I work with them).
