My fiance knows I ordered it and that its white :P (not completely true, its white and navy blue :P He also knows that its sleeveless - but other than that, he's completely clueless. OH and he knows what day its going to be arriving here - well - to my office since it has to be signed for :P

Actually, I put together a scrapbook with pictures of dresses I like (as well as hairstyles and make-up and flowers....) and I showed him the scrapbook. So he has a vague idea of how I will look, but I definitely want that "wow moment" so I'm not telling him too much info.

I will probably give him a piece of the fabric from my dress so he can match his tux to it.

He knows he cant see it untill I begin walking down the aisle with my Dad :D
But he knows its white and silk and he knows its almost backless. But then again I dont exactly know what it looks like because its still being made and the weddings in a month :)

He knows that it's white and strapless! I showed him several styles that I like, but none are like my gown. He likes the whole ballgown look with minimal detail. He says he wants something that will not draw the attention away from my face!

Gene knows it's ivory, has spaghetti straps and beading and a short train. He went though the David's Bridal catalog trying to figure it out, but I wouldn't tell him if he was guessing corectly or not. It was here at the house for a while, but I don't think he looked. Although I guess it really wouldn't matter if he did.

i haven't ordered my dress yet but my FH knows what type of dress i really love and want and that i want it to be white not ivory. thats all i know and thats all he knows too:) i have narrowed it down to 3 dresses i like but he has seen my top ten choices. so he is kinda clueless ;)

Shannon knew everything about my gown. At first we tried to do the old wait until the wedding day thing, but then we figured who cares. He did not see me in it before the wedding day, but he saw it on the hanger. I kinda wanted him to see it anyways so he knew that I wasn't wasting the $$$ that I paid for it. He was very happy once he saw it.

On our wedding day we accidentally didn't time our getting ready correctly. He wasn't completely finished in the room when it was my time to get ready. I already had my hair done & veil on, but that was it. No makeup & no dress. He felt kinda bad for that at first. But honestly, no matter how many times he sees you before hand or sees your dress before hand, nothing can take away from that moment that you see each other all done up and getting ready to commit your lives to one another. The emotion is overwhelming.

i am widowed and it will be my second wedding. due to that i thought at first,that it is not appropriate to wear a wedding dress. i told my honey that i have to go with a business suit and big hat in off white or vanilla.
he was soo disappointed, he wished for a "real" bride for so long.

but todays wedding etiquette says that second brides can wear anything what they liked!!!

i purchased an ivory colored,beaded destination wedding dress with spaghetti straps,a shoulder length veil and even a small tiara!!!

my fiance has no clue! he still thinks i`ll wear a suit!!i can hardly wait to see his eyes when he sees me for the first time at our wedding day. ;) ;)

i think when the time comes for me, i dont want him too see it the first time i walk down the isle. I want that pricless look, like the first time he saw me dress up in a dress. lol. Im a jeans and a t-shirt girl, you should have seen the look on his face. I want that all over again.

Ryan knows it's strapless, with the standard poofiness to the skirt. He knows it's going to have a French bustle because I complained to him about it. He knows there's beading on it because my arm got a little ripped up during my first fitting (really confidence inspiring; yes, I've packed clear bandaids). He knows it's kinda a little celticy... but other than that, he doesn't know anything and doesn't want to.

I think that is so great, the photographer needs to get a picture of his face when he first sees you :)

My FH just knows that it is white and it is poofy, but not like a ballgown. He only knows the poofiness because I had problems finding the right slip to go under it and I was complaining about it to him. Other than that it will be a big SUPRISE!!!!!! :D :D

The only thing Kiel knows is it's white, not a halter ( I promised him I wouldn't wear a halter dress since he HATES them.) and he also knows how much it's going to cost us. Might add I think I gave him a small heart attack when I first told him, not to good of a thing to give him at 21!!! :rolleyes:
