Well FH and I finally decided on the centerpeices, were doing little beach themes in bowls. Were going to use regular playsand, blue sand for the water, little chair candleholders, umbrella, seashells and etc. Well here's my problem we finally get it all worked out with these chairs we saw at the dollar store in mind. Well we get to the dollar store and no more chairs, after they have been there for like a year. So we search all around town, try AC Moore and Michaels, no luck so I go online. Let me tell you those wedding places want like 5.99 per chair and I need 30. Then I find a store that has them closed out for .64 but the only problem is you have to buy them by the case of 144. If anyone knows where I can get cheap ones please let me know!

I'll look online as I am sure others will for you too. But, have you thought about calling around to hobby stores. They might have mini beach or lawn chairs in the doll house departments.

Marcia is right. Maybe you could not only use them in the centerpieces but as favors too. You could put little candy or chocolate sea shells in the seats then wrap the whole thing with tulle. Just an idea.

I think using the extras for favors is a great idea! You said they were candleholders right? That would be cute!

I think using them as favors is a good idea, could they also be used as placecards/holders? Depending on how the back is built, names could be written on with metalic pen's.

Thank you ladies for everything. We were thinking of getting the 144 and using the rest as favors but our guest list has soared over 200 people and it's 99 dollars for the 144. This whole thing is driving me crazy... if we don't use the chairs doesn anyone have any other idea's of how we could do it? I don't want to just stick a candle in the sand!!!
