Ok I got one of my bridal magazines today and notices a rock candy wedding favor. I loved it since we are having alot of kids and a beach wedding. ( the color of the rock candy was blue and white) So now I am thinking of of tying a ribbon with our names to the stick and using that as a favor. :p What do you think?....P.S. They are really cheap....240 of something like $70   :D

That is a really cute idea. Parents are going to kill you though because you are pumping their kids up with pure sugar. But, hey, they aren't going home with you now are they? (insert evil laugh here) :p

Rock candy is the best stuff in the world. I used to work at a museum that would make their own. Both kids and adults loved it. I'd go for it. For $70 you can't go wrong.

I've only ever seen it in boxes - just theh rock candy that is made on a sheet tray and then broken into shards packaged in boxes.

Another use for the rock candy on a stick is what we are doing...serving it instead of sugar packets with the coffee and tea service. It is kind of a nice and different way for people to sweetend their coffee. Just make sure you get the clear ones for this.
