If I do chose to use the gold color how do I incorporate that same color w/ my bridesmaid dresses? Wouldn't that look funny, using the same color as my bridesmaids are? I put up new pics of bridesmaid dresses. I'm not sure if their working though.

HI! I too am going with a gold dress, The white just does not look as rich against the beading and embroidery and the gold, really complements my complexion. I am using brown as the bridesmaids, but a champagne color would work too. I dont think they have to match but colors should complement each other.Whatever you go with your dress is beautiful! :)

Thanks. I'm thinking of adding another color. I'm using gold & cream. Not sure what elso will go w/ that.

I'm starting to like how rasberry, chocolate, and champagne go together. I saw some swatches and its a nice combination. I guess I can still switch since I haven't officially set anything for the wedding.

My dresss is Ivory/Mocha and I am using chocolate bridesmaid dresses with pink flowers/accents. I think that if you use the gold/cream for you that you would want to go darker with the bridesmaid dresses....you don't want them to blend with you, you want to stand out from them

If you want to have gold included in their outfits, and can't find a gold accented dress (that sounds like a prom dress; not a criticism, just unfortunate since prom season just ended so it will be harder to find), I'd just go with gold jewelry for them, maybe even gold shoes. As long as they're noticible, it will look great.

They could also have gold shoulder wraps (i'm not sure if someone already suggested that)
