Until a week ago my wedding was going to be in September, with red and dark orange and ivory as the colors, pretty much based off this http://i.ivillage.com/relationships/wedding/flowers/color/color_bou2.jpg

Then we were going to elope, then we were back to a local wedding, but decided since I am a school teacher and he is in college still why dont we have a summer wedding. This would give us the summer to adjust to married life and have the time to take a honeymoon instead of going back to work/school right after the wedding and doing the honeymoon during winter break.

Problem is I still want my fall colors. And the wedding dress I that is my current favorite with the red accents. Do you think they would fit with a late June/early July wedding in GA? Or should I go with my second idea of a lighter orange and yellow with ivory? I really want to keep the orange in either way. Any other color suggestions?

My son just got married on 6/25, their colors were ruby red and white. The bride carried red roses and the bridesmaids who were in red, carried white roses. IT WAS GORGEOUS! I'm sure that you could put the orange with the white roses and it would be very pretty. The guy's wore ivory shirts with their tux's. Groomsmen wore deep red vests and ties, groom all ivory and the dads wore black cummerbuns and bowties. (Red bridesmaids dresses, David's Bridal, Tux's Men's Wearhouse. :)

I think the red and orange would still be lovely. I really like that bouquet in the pic. Very pretty. I think any bold color can work in summer. You could throw in some yellow as accent in things like ribbon or candles.

I will go for it and just call it "sunset colors" if anyone asks. I think they will match the heat well ^_~
