First off Sorry I haven't posted in a little while. Went on Vacation, then my Fiance moved into my apt. with me because we are having a house built that isn't ready yet....
So here is what I have been able to come up with. I am from Hawaii, and we have decided to do a little bit of Hawaiian as a theme. I have changed my brides maids dresses to these: http://www.alohaz.com/images/women/long_dress/hoaloha_rainforest.jpg
best man will wear:

My bouquet will be this: http://www.mauiblooms.net/staging/images/products/small/tropicalCascade.jpg
Brides maids bouquets will be: http://www.hibiscusflorals.com/Products/Thumbnails/P2275508.jpg
The Cake: Except it will be purple icing, black ribbon, and probably birds of paradise on top.

The colors are actually Purple and Black. The table cloths will be white, napkins black, I am ordering purple orchids and confettii to put on the tables, the centerpieces are mirrors with glass bowls with purple/black glass rocks and bamboo about 2feet tall for each table. The Favors will be the same as centerpiece but with 6" bamboo's instead. I am also going to make napkin rings that will be black with purple orchids hot glued to them. Anyone have any other ideas?

I am now reconsidering doing bouquets for the brides maids and thinking about doing these instead, they wouldn't have a bouquet but I think this would look better. I'm afraid that the bouquets are going to clash with the dresses what do you think?

I can also do them in white orchids instead of the purple ones.

I think you might be right about the bouquets being too busy with the dress. The leis will look adorable though!

I agree the boquets might be too much with the busy dresses and the leis have a definate Hawaii feel. Just a thought you could totaly ignore but when I think of weddings I think of boquets. So myabe use the leis which I love the idea and maybe have them carry a loose flower or two down the isle so they have something in their hand? I dont know but I think the leis are very nice and would look great

Maybe you could get the girls some pretty purple Asian inspired parasols to carry. It would keep their hands busy and if you are having an outdoor wedding, keep the sun off of them.

Love the leis! I think the white orchids would look great.
My friend had her bridesmaids wear wrist corsages instead of holding bouquets, and I asked them how they liked the corsage vs bouquet and they said they loved it, that they liked having their hands free. So I think the leis will be a nice choice.

Thanks for all the lovely Ideas. Does anyone have any other ideas?
We are getting married Nov. 19th in laughlin NV (its an alternative to Vegas) We wanted to have a small reception after the wedding. We are having about 30-50 people at the wedding/reception and the full buffett dinner/bar/ceremony/reception will run us no more than 1750.00 can't beat it (that would be for 50 guests) its 35.00 pp all inclusive. Includes cake and everything.

I have family in that area and once took the riverboat tour which by the way has a bar :) If you're planning a rehearsal dinner or just want to enjoy time with your friends and family check it out. It's at one of the casinos near the bridge.

As for anyone considering wrist corsages: That is such a unique, and probably cost-efficient, idea! A word of warning however. I hate wearing wrist corsages... and am not that big on pin on ones... Basically just an FYI that you may want to double check with your bridesmaids because some people find them extremely annoying.

My father used to work for a florist...he recommends that if you can't ask people specifically which one they want, have them make wrist corsages and put a pin in the box too so people can pick which one they want...nothing is worse than having a pin-on corsage with a stapless dress!

Cool.
And I forgot to add this to my previous response:
Not that it really matters what the bridesmaids like anyway :p

Yeah, I was surprised when I saw it, never had seen it before. The bride had a bouquet of red callas and MOH had a bouquet of white callas and then all the other bridesmaids had wrist corsages (very pretty ones, also with the white callas), anyway so I was curious what the bridesmaids thought about having these wrist corsages instead of a bouquet, and I was really surprised when they all responded "They're great! We LOVE them! It's so nice to have our hands free! We don't have to set something down everytime we need to adjust our dresses or fix our hair, etc." I was pretty surprised they had such a strong positive reaction to them, but they looked good and it definitely saves money!
