Hi I am 22 and getting married in feb of 2006. I am on a very strict budget but I am doing good so far. I have been dress shopping a couple of times already and I am in love with the strapeless look but I have a big tattoo on my right breast. I hate it and want it covered up the day of my wedding but I have no idea how to do it. it is solid black so i am sure it is not going to be easy to cover up. Any addvice is greatly appricaited

You could try heavy makeup coverup, but that might come off on your dress. Have any of the bridal stores you have been at given you any thoughts. i am sure they see that quite a bit and would know what kind of advice to give you.
also, if you really hate it you could see about getting it removed.

Check in the back of some bridal magazines. There are always tatoo cover kits being advertised. If not, I would call some local higher end beauty salons. Maybe one of them could help you to airbrush cover it.

you can try to use instant cover by igia (www.igia.com,i think). the concealer comes in 3 diffrent sshades. i do not have a tatoo but i think i was "born" with dark (i mean really dark) circles under my eyes. i am using instant cover now for a while. it is the first product that helped me not to look like a racoon! :)

carrie, this is off the subject, but get your liver checked. dark circles under your eyes has been linked to a lack of insulin in your liver.

I have seen somewhere that, here in the UK, the British Red Cross (I think) do a special makeup which is designed to cover disfigurements, injuries, scars, burns, etc. From the pictures I have seen, the area being covered looks "normal" when the makeup is applied. Try doing a web search?

Hi Angela, I am a makeup artist and deal with this situation all the time. I use Coverblend by Exuviance on my brides who are in this position. The face and body coverup works very well. It is sweatproof, waterproof ( you can go swimming and it wont come off) and it is transfer resistent meaning it wont rub off on your dress. It is about $16.00, you can find it online and at Sephora or Sephora.com. It is similar to Dermablend, but a lot easier to work with, dermablend is very thick and hard to use. With this all u need it to find the best shade and use a sponde wedge and blot the area till it is at optimal coverage. It takes about 30-45 minutes before it becomes waterproof, transfer resistent. If you sweat or get wet just dab the area with a towel, once soap hits it it comes off. It works great. It doesn't look cakey or anything. Tr it out and let me know if u have anymore questions. Hope this tip helps!!

Years ago I worked at a department store and had a friend who worked for... Erno Lazlo, I think... They have a coverup called DermaBlend(?) that's for things like birthmarks... I know it does an incredible job coving up horrible hickeys (no, not on me, but I saw the results) and I would assume a tattoo also. You might want to try that.
