Elephants

I absolutly love elephants, so when i saw the elephant place card holders I love them but what else would go with it? They are silver. I love dark blues. any ideas?

I love elephants too! I collect them and have literally hundreds of them in the house. Maybe you could go with a jungle theme for your wedding and use the elephants. (Or if you were of the political persuasion that I am, you could do red white and blue with the elephants) :D

I like elephants too. I don't know how into a theme you want to go but maybe you could do some subtle things. Maybe you could find little crystal or glass elephants to put on or next to your cake. You could do what I am doing with my bouquet. I have 2 little Scottie dogs that can't be with me on my wedding. So I bought two little crystal pins of Scottie dogs. I am going to pin them on the ribbon binding my bouquet. You could do that with elephant pins. For favors you could give a dollar in each guests' name to your local zoo or research a foundation the helps elephants. You could design your stationary and put two little elephants with their trunks together on your invitations, thank yous, and programs.

If she can't find it she can always design it. Then all she has to do it take it to a print shop in her area. It would probably be a ton cheaper than ordering invitations and a ton easier than making them herself.

i think those are so cute,i thought they would go good with somone's Arabian theme. I also thought white elephants are good luck. But ivory would be a good color to work with, and im sure you can do some stamping or graphic arts design for stationary. Wonder if that party supply store catalogue, has anything with elephants. Maybe under the circus theme, not that im associating elephants with a circus, but thats most likely where to find them.

I love elephants, my grandmother collected them before she died and after she moved to FL I would randomly get little boxes with elephant trinkets in them and post it notes saying it wanted to come home (back to WI)

I think using elephants could be very elegant. The Arabian theme is a lovely idea or... I had another idea for you but can't remember it now (got distracted by something shiny and my train of thought jumped the tracks) if I remember it later I'll post again and tell you.

Story of my life. I think the silver elephants would look great with dark blue seating cards (business cards from an office supply store if you can't find any wedding ones... or if you can, they're probably cheaper) and silver writing.

Check out www.myjeanm.com for the dark blue cards. I think that would look so cool if you used one of those silver gel pens to write on them with. I know that I am ordering her black ones. I am pretty sure she has several shades of dark blue to pick from.
