Time Shares in Maui or Kauai?

Are there any really good time share places on Kauai or Maui? I am going to Hawaii for my honeymoon and want to use 7 of our 14 day vacation at a time share resort. I have RCI time share. Thank you.

You have a RCI timeshare? I hate to be a rain on your parade by my FH's parents have that and they can never get anything booked in Hawaii. Everything is always full! We had our hearts set on going to Hawaii, but we'll probably have no honeymoon at all. His parents only want to donate their timeshare points to us... they won't give us money for a honeymoon :( . So I guess we're just SOL.
Anyways, I can't remember that name of the resort we wanted to visit. Maybe I can ask my FH's mom about it again and I can post it. :)

I work in timeshare (don't worry, I am not one of those leech-like sales people) and Cashy is absolutely right. If you want to book into Hawaii, you need to get RCI to start a search for you very early. It can take 2 years to get into Hawaii sometimes.

My parents went to Hawaii in Sept. on their RCI timeshare it worked out great. They booked it a year in advance though. I think they went to Maui...I will ask her for the name of the place and post back. My dad also used his frequent flyer miles and basically got a free ticket.
