I am posting this for the second time because I didn't get any answers. My fiance's sister is five years older than I am, lives 18 hours away and never comes home, doens't know any of my friends, and only made me a personal attendant when she got married is it alright not to ask to be a bridesmaid or in the wedding at all? My fiance says don't ask her, but I am afraid his mom will be very upset. But everyone keeps telling me it's my wedding and to ask who I want. Help

Your bridal attendants should be people who are close and dear to you. It is your day and you should feel comfortable and happy with your decisions.

Your bridal attendents should be people that your close to and that you trust on your special day. if your not close to your fiance's sister than don't ask her.

when you get married, you not only get a new spouse, but a new family. if you appease your soon-to-be mother-in-law by asking your future sister-in-law to be in your wedding, she will look at you as someone who will do what she says. hey, this is your wedding, do what you want to do... all i'm saying is that i wouldn't do something just because someone else wants me to do it.
hope this helps.
