Where to begin??? I guess the beginning Russ and I work together and that is how we meet we both work in a farm store, he works in the Sporting goods department and I'm a cashier. Well one day I was working back in the fishing aisle and thats how it all started... Everyday since that has been a worldwind.. Anywho we are getting married July 14, 2007 it's two years off but it's better to plan everything out and not rush it. So far I guess we don't have nothing figured out. Well he do have the hall, church, and the person to make the cake. We are having a fourwheeler on the cake because we both are into fourwheeling, my bridemaid dresses are going to be a purple color thats about what we have figured out. We don't even know who is going to be in the wedding yet. My maid of honor is/was going to be my best friend from high school but now I don't know...She doesn't like Russ, because we don't fight or get abusive like she relationships are and now shes dayting someone I don't like someone who has 1st degree sexual assault against hom...So yah how can I take her out of the wedding when I have already asked her??? Other then that I don't know anything else

I need to call the Photographer today, the one that we want.. we have to make an appointment to just talk to the person. I think we have some things figured out. My mom and I are going to go look at wedding dresses hopefully July 13th. I don't know I want to get married so bad but I'm scared due to the fact my family(like my cousins) isn't the greatest, they smoke, drunk, have been in jail, etc.... My family are like rednecks don't get my wrong I think I'm a redneck but I'm a redneck without a record lol So I'm scared about Russ's family and my family at the reception. His family are like uppy up. I have already make it clear that if there are any sort of fighting or anyone who wants to start something that they will be asked to leave. Does anyone know how I feel?

Just to let everyone know how big my wedding is going to be there will be about 500 people invited and about 420 will show up or less (I hope) Right now a plate of food costs $8.95 but I'm sure that will go up and thats not bad from what I heard one couple tell me that theirs was around $17 a plate. Oh yah Russ and I are talking about getting a house we are sick of living in an apartment were yesterday it was 91 degrees in there and that's with the a/c on! Plus we both want to move into the country, Speaking of that... My parents gave us 5 acres of land to put a house on and Russ's mother is all mad because we wouldn't be moving by her and Russs' father. Well what are we suppose to do? Land isn't cheap and we talked about and Russ doesn't want to live by his parents, well I'm going to go and call the photographer so I'll be back

Like all of my mothers family are a bunch of redneck (pretty much white trash ...to be honest) and I barely even know them so I'm not inviting them. All they ever do is talk about negative things...argue and cause trouble. I do not want them around my father's nice family and my husbands family. I know it might be rude but its my wedding...and I'm paying for it so I pick who comes.

Ok I just called the guy and he was shocked that we are planning everything so soon and said that he couldn't believe it and started laughing and asked if we have everything else lined up... I just like yup we are ahead of the game lol well anywho July 7th at 4pm we get to talk to him yippy skippy lol the big part I had to spell out my last name nad I forgot how to spell it. no I'm not blonde lol

Thanks Heather I don't feel to alone now. I wish I didn't have to invite them but I know I will have to... I want to elope lol I guess I have two years to figure it out... I don't think that will be enough time lol

Sweetheart - I'm from Oklahoma, my brother in laws are from Alabama, North Carolina, Kentucky and my fiance's family is from southern Louisiana - the rest of my family lives in this little uppity town in Michigan. I KNOW redneck - and there ain't nothing wrong with it! :) If its possible to keep people from fighting, I think those that are a little more "white collar" will come around to some down home fun :) I know my family has :)

Do you think it's asking to make of the FH not to get drunk? I have been at weddings at seen the guy trashed. Russ and I talked about it and we both said we we could each have about 3 drinks at the reception because we want to remember the night, think that is fair?

Well the other day we went and talked to a photographer... his best package was $3000 middle package was $2100 and the third was $1700. The 1st two he does an ablum of the pics and he also comes to the dinner but leaves before everyone is done eating. I liked the guy but we are going to look around to see what else we can find
