One of my biggest concerns in choosing a destination is the cost of airfare for my guests. I want to have a long weekend get away off the main land in the tropics. I am open to which island but don't want the plane tickets to cost $700 round trip. Suggestions for a fabulous location with reasonable airfare? Most of the guests will be traveling from central U.S. in the month of May...

did you know that american air and most other int'l carriers offer up to 10% discount for groups that fly together...like wedding guests? You might want to look into that....most websites have it listed somewhere although you do have to dig..


on another note, why not get married in the CAribbean...I have no idea where you are located but The Bahamas is serviced by some major airlines and could only be a short flight from you, therefore cheaper to get to...

Lots of resorts offer airfare and lodging packages. I'd decide where you want it and then find out what they do for destination weddings... they may have an even better rate depending on the size of the group.
