How about large fish bowls with floating candles and flower heads (plum color) in them?
Or, you could get large clear glass cylinders and submerge flower petals (plum color) in water. Then you just set a floating candle on top.

If you rent the containers for either of those, it will only cost you about $5 a table. It just depends on who you go through and what kind of flowers you use.

Yep, that's what I was talking about. :) The cylinder vases can be rented for as little as $1 a piece. You could even slurge and rent large mirror tiles to go underneath for $0.50-$1 each. LOL!

You could buy smalll round vases at a discound store, hot glue, plum paint, stencil, and candles.
**** the stencil to the vase and carefuly paint over it, remove the stencil (if you choose someting a small stencil remove and repeat on sequence, then let dry and spray with "All finish", and some glittler , put the candles in the vase and there you have it, fun, romantic, shiny and cheap. Good luck

I think getting a flower vases which you can find ata good price and putting actual plums in the vase, then fill them with water and add an arrangement of flowers in all your color. Cute and inexpensive
