115 Days to Go! I'm so excited but I really wish it was more like 15 days to go. I'm getting so stressed out! I guess I didn't realize that weddings were so hard to plan. I wish I could afford a wedding planner! I went to talk to a florist today. Flowers are so expensive! My bridesmaids told me to just make their bouquets out of fake flowers but I don't know if that's tacky or not. The flowers we picked out look so real so it's not like anyone would know...I just really want the real ones! This is stressful! If it wasn't for all of the bouts and corsages we have to buy for grandparents and other people...I might be able to afford it.
I also need to find a baker and a photographer. I need to win the lottery soon! haha.

i know we are all cheap! yes we are dont argue. lol

anyway, walmart, does wedding cakes. and i think one for 150 ppl is 58 dollars or something like that. and you can also use fakies, give g-ma and g-pa a real flower if you have to, get a bouguet of flowers the day b-4 and just go with it. dont forget the pins to hold it on though.(walmart)

I AM WALL MART QUEN HEAR ME ROAR!

Costco will ship you bulk flowers, which is what I am doing. I am going to get like 125 roses and make all my flower arrangements myself the night before with the roses. Since I am having a fall wedding I am going to add wheat in with the roses and uses pumpkins/butternut squash for my table centerpieces, so it should come out less expensive and I still get to use the real thing.

However, silk or as I heard someone else call them, permanant flowers are perfectly acceptable. My sister used the silk ones and had her bouquet ready before her bridal portrait so she was able to have her actual bouquet for the pictures which was cool

I can't wait until the wedding is over! lol. I should have planned this sooner. October is coming so soon and nothing is finished!
I still have to find:<br>

Baker
Florist
Photographer
Flower Girl dresses
Mens attire
Hair style
Flower girl baskets
Guest Book
Guest Book attendant
Candle lighters
Decorations
Favors
and the list goes on...

I'm thinking about not having the flower girls now. I want to have my twin neices do it. but they will only be two...and I don't know how well they can behave. Would it be a waste of money to buy dresses for them and them turn out to not even do it? I'll be so glad when this is all over. (is that negative??) I'm just looking forward to the marriage and of course....the honeymoon! :)

I'm almost not as stressed out as usual. My step-mother just told me tonight (after me almost in tears about the wedding) that we need to sit down and talk about the money situation is so her and my father can pitch in. YEEESSSSS!!! It's about time. They offered to pay for the reception, decorations and food...but the reception hall costs $80.00! I could pay that myself! Anyway, so I was telling her about the flowers and cake so she mentioned helping out more. Thank God!!! That's so much weight off of my shoulders. If I could just get the flowers and cake taken care of...I can handle the rest. The rest is just little items to buy and the photographer--which is the most pricey. I have like 3 months to go! I need to hurry up...I'm slacking. I thought I had plenty of time. Oh well...it's time to call the FMIL and ask for some help. She's the type that will help so I'm gonna to just grow up and ask for a little help. (Even though I HATE asking people for help.)
Plus, after I finally got the guest list under control...my grandmother called me and told me her sisters want to come to the wedding. Oh geez! How am I going to squeeze them in? The chapel holds 100 people...and I already invited 100 people. I'm a mess!! lol.

These are some of the flowers I'm thinking about using for my wedding:

I'm trying to use mainly fall colors. I really like the deep red, deep orange and deep yellow colors.

I'm really getting back in the groove of planning the wedding again. I know I only have 3+ months to plan and I'm so far behind but I finally calmed down and just started doing things. I think I found my florist. She's only $300 for all the items I need. That's super cheap compared to what I was looking at before. My step-mom knows a photographer...and I'm not even going to stress about the cake because barely anyone eats the cake so no need to buy a huge one. All I really need to do now is find some clothes for the guys to wear! So far they are showing up naked! haha. Also, I have to print my invitations and programs and mail the invitations out and I'm pretty much done. My step mom is taking care of the decorations since shes an interior designer. I'm getting excited about my bridal shower and bachelorette party! I can't wait!

Heather, what are the sites you got the pictures of the flowers at? I am doing a fall wedding in 2006 and love the bouquets you posted.

I'm going to visit the chapel and the reception hall tomorrow. We are taking tons of pictures with the digital ***era to get an idea of how to decorate it and where to seat people. Here are some pics of what it looks like:

It's small but its really cute. The reason I picked it is because, one night me and Josh were bored so we decided to take a mini road trip to a couple towns over from ours. Well, the whole time all we did was talk and it was beautiful. That's where I found out I was in love with Josh....so why not marry him there? :)

108 more days until both of our families join in our celebration of marriage! How great is that? I'm so excited but nervous at the same time. I have 3 more months to get everything together. Ahhh!! lol.
My MOH is planning the showers now and I'm so excited. I can't wait to get all of my friends together and celebrate. I have to get all my inivitations made and sent out soon! So much stuff to do and little time to do it. I need a 3 month vacation from my job just to prepare...I don't think they would go for that though! haha. I wish!

I got a lot accomplished today! I went to the chapel and took care of the details there, went to the reception hall to get an idea of how to decorate it. Then I talk to the florist and a baker and got them all booked up! Cake and flowers for only $450. Plus, I picked up my wedding band! It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I love it. I'm so happy right now!
I'm sooooooooo excited about October...HURRY UP AND GET HERE ALREADY! I'm ready to do this...have fun...and then be over with. It's fun planning but it is very stressful at the same time.

But if October hurries up and gets here, November will too and I'm soooo not ready yet! :P

Yeah no kidding! I definitely got a lot done last week and this week even more. My main problem is the food - we're roasting a hog....and he's not done growing yet! :P

102 days to go! My MIL said she was going to set up the rehearsal dinner but I still have not heard anything about her plans. She is a big last minute person so I hope she doesn't do it for this. I have a 5 day vacation coming up for the 4th of July weekend so hopefully I can get some things accomplished. Luckily my MOH is a big help and she is always there when I'm planning the wedding. She's getting a good gift! lol. I need to go to a craft store to look for some decoration ideas. My cake needs some accessories. I need to make it look more fall.

I just purchased some wedding programs on ebay (not advertising!) for cheap. I'm excited to get them in the mail. And I'm excited to print them! All of my ideas are coming to place. Finally! Now I just need to print those and my invitations and send them out! I wonder how much postage is going to cost?? Probably a lot! My invitations said they need extra postage. One of my bridesmaids offered to help print them so it shouldn't be too hard. I'm glad I have some people willing to help! Anyway, I just have a few more things to take care of and then its just waiting for October!! I can't wait!

My Bachelorette party was so much fun. A few friends of mine went out to dinner and then we went back to a hotel to play games and have some fun lol. We played some very interesting games like, carve a ***** out of a cucumber, pin the bow on the ***** and more. http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b5ce00b3127cce94eef3bc3fa800000016108AZt2Lhm4ZuV
