Kevin and I have been together since we were 15. When I first met him he bugged me so much, I HATED him! He eventually grew on me and we have been together ever since.
We are almost 21 and ready to start our lives together. We had been planning on moving out this summer for about a year now, and I knew he was going to propose before we moved out, but I had no idea when. Well, for my birthday, which is in December I got a card and flowers, and the card was beautiful, I thought it was a proposal. Of course I was wrong, and a little disappointed.
I got over that, and told me he was given a gift certificate to a really nice restarant by the beach, so we planned to have a date night and then hang out at the beach afterward (which is my favorite past time!). So the week before seemed normal to me, he went out one night to go Christmas shopping (this was 2 weeks before Christmas) and that seemed normal to me. We then went to dinner that night and the restuarant was ok, but Kevin didn't seem to like his meal. He then said he felt really sick and had to go to the bathroom. He was gone forever, so I told the waitress he was sick and asked her to get rid of his meal since he didn't like it, and to box mine up. He ***e back from the bathroom and was so up-set to see the bill, and everything cleaned up. He said he was feeling better and asked the waitress to put my meal on a plate for him to eat (HOW embarressing!!!). She probably thought we were absolutely nuts, lol.
So then we head to the beach and are walking along a cliff, but it had a sidwalk talking. I started joking, lets just get married I already have a ring (I was talking about my promise ring he had given me several years ago). He didn't answer me, and then all of the sudden I see a flicker of light on the sand. I looked down, and saw "Will You Marry Me" in white Christmas lights and I almost said, "Look someone's getting engaged". Before I could say that I looked at him and he was on one knee. I was so shocked, but I didn't cry. I couldn't believe he was able to get past me, I ask questions on everything an am super nosey. I guess I had even ran into him while he was buying the ring and I had no idea. The jewler is right down the street and I saw him driving there.
He used a generator to get the lights to work and when he went to the bathroom sick, he was actually talking to his friend who was helping him set everything up. His friend told him to stall, so he was shocked to come back and see everything cleaned up! It was perfect and an unforgettable night! Oh, and I also found out that he had purchased my ring in JULY, and waited until December, and I had NO idea!
More to come later....

Our wedding is on a yacht in Newport Beach and I am so excited! It's basically an all-inclusive type of thing. The DJ, florist, photographer, caterer, cake, officient, everything is included. I have heared such wonderful things about this type of wedding, a friend of a friend actually did this and I talked to her. She said it was the best experience, and everything went really well, not to mention its only costing 13,000 (full bar included).
I can't wait to start planning, I just need to get through my summer school class and then its all about the wedding. We are getting married on July 28, 2006 and I can't wait. I think I found my dress, but I have only seen it on the internet. I want to colors to be simple, white tablecloths with smaller black tableclothes over that and pink and white roses and gerbera daises. My centerpiece is a glass vase with sand, water, and shells in it with the flowers coming out. We have decided on a beach theme, if you can't tell! Well, I'll be back later.

Ok, well I started this a long time ago and I am going to try and pick it up again!
As I said before, we are getting married on a yacht, the ambassador. It is made to hold 150 people, but we weill hopefully not be over 100. It comes with just about everything, the caterer, dj, photographer, cake, the florist, and I know there is more. I am a little worried since I didn't get to personally pick each of these people but I did get to see their work and I was happy with everything. I still need to find a videographer, limo, and my invitations. I think I will order my save the dates soon so I can send them out in January.
http://www.pacificavalon.com/contactus.html
I have also already bought my dress, which I first saw here and fell in love with it. It doesn't look like a traditional wedding gown, but it is so me. I just love it, I only tried on 4 or 5 but nothing compared. It is Darci, from Maggie Sottero. As I have said before, I am very small and petite and the bridal salon I went to said that I can actually order my dress 5 inches shorter than it is supposed to come, and it will only cost 120.00. This means that I won't need any alterations for the length, as long as I can find shoes that are at least 3 inches. I always wear shoes this high, so it shouldn't be a problem, I just have to make sure they are comfortable because I will not be able to take them off!

Ok, I am starting to feel overwhelmed! My wedding location comes with everything, but I haven't called any vendors. I work all day and just haven't done it yet, but I am starting to stress about it. I also haven't ordered my save the dates which need to go out in December/January, or my invites. Bridesmaid dresses are basically picked out and we are going to go look at them next month when everyone is in town. Umm, I don't have a videographer yet, we haven't completely decided on a honeymoon spot. AHHHHHH, there is just so much and I keep telling myself that I still have so much time, well, I don't anymorea! I have 8 months, and I am stressed! I think I am going to take a day off work to make all of the appointments and to go to the invitation store and everything else. I am sure I am forgetting something.

Here are some pictures of us at the beach. The one with us both in a whit shirt was going to be engagement photo but we changed our minds. His step-mom took them and they get really blurry when they are blown up so I need to call our photographer to set up an appointment. I also changed my hair since then, its now longer and dark brown on the bottom. The other one is just of us having fun one afternoon at the beach(Laguna Beach). I live like 25 minutes from Laguna Beach, so I love that show!

Ok, so I have known that I wanted these invitations for a long time but I am not comfortable with ordering them online. There is an invitation place not too far from here so I want to see if they carry these invitations. It seems like all of the different invitation places online carry the same or similar invitations so I am hoping that this place will have them too!

For my bridesmaids gifts I was going to go to Things to Be Remembered and get the star jewerly boxes and have them engraved. Well, I went to a bridal show and won 300 dollars to that store! So now I am probably going to do something a little nicer and I want to get my flower girl a jewerly box that has her name on it. I saw a really cute one in a butterfly theme that has a butterfly that rotates when you open it. The reason I want to get the star jewerly boxes is because part of it is donated to Make a Wish Foundation and his sister has cystic fibrosis, so its extra special. Make a Wish actually sent him and his family to Hawaii earlier this year. I was also thinking about getting the parents something nice and engraved, along with the groomsmen. Its so nice to have the gift certificate because I was going to spend money there anyways, so if I go over 300 its not a big deal. I am also going to get the bridemaids a tote with their name on it similiar to Kiki's, and I saw a cute poem on here to put in a purse along with a bunch of cute supplies like a ***era, tissue, ect. I am also getting their jewelry, but that shouldn't be too expensive. I have 3 bridesmaids, my sister, his sister and my best friend and they are all really special to me.
We decided not to do favors, we are donating money to a charity, probably Make a Wish becuase it helps so many children. I found these place card holders that I think I am going to buy to hold a card for each table explaining the donation.

Ok, I think I forgot to mention my theme. I am having a shell/beach themed wedding, my colors are pink, black, and white, and my flowers are probably going to be white roses with pink gerber(sp?) daiseys. My tables will have a larger white tablecloth with a smaller black one over it and pink flowers for the centerpiece. I know I want my centerpiece to have sand in it with shells and then the flowers in that. Here is a picture of a bouquet that is similar to what I want, except I want it reversed with white roses and a brighter pink gerber daisey. I also want it to be wrapped in pink and green ribbon at the bottom.

This is the bridesmaid dress that I am almost positive we are going with. Everyone liked the picture and we are going to look at it in person next month. I love it because its elegant but still casual so it can be worn again. The green ribbon can't be changed, unless I do it myslef, but I actually like it. This is why the bouquets will be tied with pink and green ribbon.

Thank you so much, I just want to feel caught up! I actually got the donation idea from here and loved it immediately! We figure that all the money going towards favors can go to something that everyone will remember and we will feel good about! I am just not sure how to word the cards for each table.

Ok, I went to a boutique today just for fun with fmil and I found my earrings for the wedding! They are dangly with crystal/beads that change color when light hits them. They are so pretty and elegant yet very simple, and they best part......they were only 12 dollars!!

Ok, these are a couple of shoes that I like. I want something cute, girly, and comfortable! My problem is that I need a shoe that is at least 3 inches because I don't want to alter my dress. I am already having it made 5 inches shorter than it comes, so I don't want to spend more money on more alterations. With that said, I have to have a comfortable shoe because it can't come off all night. I am only 4'11" though, so I am always wearing high shoes.
These shoes are from Steve Madden but I haven't made a definite decision or anything

I like these the least of the three

Thank you, U haven't really looked at shoes anywhere, but I know Steve Madden are good shoes. They are all about $60, which I don't think is too bad. I was told by the bridal shop to wait on buying my shoes until after the dress comes in so I know how high I need to go! Thanks for checking out my journal and for the compliments. I love my theme more and more!

You're very welcome. I like them and the price is reasonable. I paid 80 for my shoes. The pic is in my journal. I agree about waiting til after you bought the dress. When I got my shoes in the dress wasn't as long as it was. I love the theme and you should really stick with it!

You know, I haven't thought of that! I was thinking of just rose petals, but do you have any other ideas? Hmmm, I bet I could do something really cute that will go with the theme. I love the theme too and its funny because I wasn't going to have a theme. When I went to the yacht for the first time they had a cake on display with shells all over it and I loved it! Thats when I knew I was going for a shell/beach theme. Thanks again

This is just an idea for my centerpiece, I can't find the picture I want. Luckily I saw it in a bridal magazine so I have it to take to the florist! Instead of candles though I am going to have a bright pink gerber daisy and I think white roses. It looks really pretty in the magazine! There will also be water in the glass, I am getting excited just thinking about it!

To be honest, I have not ordered anything yet and have just been looking around for ideas. My heart is not set on any one thing. I am gonna look in your journal later tonight, what is your theme? I can only get on this site when I get off work, and there is always so much to look at that I don't spend too much time in anyone elses journal. I have been spending more time reading through them though and now that I have, I am realizing that I am getting better ideas from there than the other threads! It is so nice of you to do that, I noticed that you post lots of ideas in the other threads too! I think its awesome of you to help other people with ideas, thank you again! My house is a beach theme too, so I kind of want to order those candles to go in my home too! They are just too cute and the price is right! Thanks again!

Thanks again!
awee thank you im happy to help! i know what u mean about there being so much stuff u dont knwo where to start! i try to help ppl with some ideas but sometimes i dont get a chance to get online here and then when i do i try to catch up but thereis so much going on its insane! i think i might order some of those candles too cos i loved them.. here are some other cute things im finding. i hope its not too overwhelming its just that when im looking for things and i see seashell things i haaaaavee to share them!!! http://www.weddingthings.com/capiz_shell_favor_boxes.htm

Wow, those are both great! Forget about the wedding, I want that candle for my house too, :p ! Where are you finding all of this, lol, I have been searching for shell stuff since last December and I keep finding the same things! Its not overwhelming and I really appreciate the help, thank you again!

Ok, I am on wedding mode now! Yesterday we picked out our cake and did the whole cake testing thing, mmmmmm! Our cake is cute but I am still wondering if we made the right choice. Its 3 round layers with shells on it. We decided to go for real shells rather than the white fake ones, we also asked for them to put the lightest color of shells on it and our cake topper is a bunch of shells with a starfish. I wanted the traditional cake topper but I can't find one that I like. This is where I am a little uneasy, our cake comes with our reception site and we really had no restrictions except for how the cake it displayed. Our cake is tiered (sp?) and I am not sure if I like it that way, I think I would rather have each layer sit on top of each other. The thing is it cost 1 dollar per person to do that and I don't think its worth 100 dollars. Kevin said that no one is going to look at the cake and say, wow, that would have looked better stacked on top of each other, and he is completely right.
We loved all of the cakes we tried, but the chocolate was the best. She suggested not using that as the first layer though because it could get all over our teeth for pictures, so our first layer is white cake with mocha cream, the second layer is chocolate cake with raspberry cream, and the top layer is carrot cake with cream cheese. I am not a huge carrot cake fan but this was sooo good, and it has no raisons which is a plus! So I am very excited!

I think your cake sounds very nice. And Kevin is right, nobody will be thinking about whether the cake is stacked or not. We (brides) worry about so many little details that most guests won't even notice! Your guests are there to see you and Kevin...not your cake or any other thing that seems SO important to us.

Ok, so I already posted this picture but it is our actual cake, its from our bakers website. Like I said before, the only difference is ours will be lighter in color and the top will have a starfish. It will also not be stacked like this.

Ok, this is a cake that I fell in LOVE with yesterday but it doesn't go with our theme at all. So we are doing it for our rehearsal dinner! For just one layer that feed 20-25 people it costs 39 dollars plus 10% off since we are buying our wedding cake there. This was my compromise for this cake, its called the vow cake.

I love that vow cake. It is actually very similar to what we are planning for our wedding cake. Except that the writing on the cake will be a from a poem that James wrote when we met that ended up being published. He doesn't know about the cake though...it is one of his surprises!

Ok, I don't have an actual picture of my e-ring, but this is basically what it looks like. Its 1.26 carats and I love it. Kevin basically designed it because he hadn't really seen one online or in person that he liked.
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a252/2aztec/ring.jpg
Here is a picture of the wedding band I want but my jeweler doesn't like the idea. Its bauguette diamonds, I think with a total weight of 1/4 carat. I am not too sure what to do because I tried one similar on at the mall and I loved how it looked together. I want to have the band custom made to fit perfectly next to my e-ring and the jeweler also didn't like that idea, so again, I am confused! Its hard because I know what I want, but he keeps making me think it won't look good like that!

If the jeweler's concern is only about looks, then don't listen to him. If you like the way the rings look together, that is all that matters! But if he doesn't think the rings will fit together (even if the wedding band is altered) then maybe I would look for something similar, but that would better align with the e-ring.
But based on looks, I think the rings would look beautiful together!
Thank you, I love everyones oopinions! I loved how they looked together so I think I am just going to go with what I want! :D

Ok, I just have to vent! I am a little upset with FMIL right now...
This is our first Christmas living together so everywhere we go will be together, in the past we only saw each other on Christmas evening. So, his parents are divorced plus my family, thats 3 familes to see in 1.5 days! So, we broke it down to: my parents get Christmas eve and Christmas aftrenoon, his Mom gets Christmas morning and his Dad gets Christmas dinner. Well, yesterday I talked to his mom and she says, well I am making dinner Christmas eve and I want to take a family picture that night. I respond, well, we will all be there on Christmas morning to take a picture and she says, no I mean with my family and her new boyfriends (of 4 months) family (he has 4 kids). I don't think it is fair of her to say that, and she KNOWS we are having Christmas eve dinner with my family, so why would she say that? I am just so frustrated and upset, this just isn't fair.
Here is the kicker, they broke up last weekend and she ***e over and told us all about it and how he didn't like Kevin or I and was jealous of us. Well, now they are back together, why in the he ll would we want to spend time with him after hearing that.
I talked to Kevins step-mom about it (she is like a mom to me) and she said that if it works out then we should do it but if I have to give up time with my family then we shouldn't. She also said that I should be in the picture and not taking it like every other year, and if I am asked to take it, then Kevin should say he won't be in it either. We all live very close to each other, but I am not cutting dinner short with my family to go to her house when she gets X-mas morning. I also don't want to go over there after dinner with my family because we will be caught there for a long time, and when is my time for Christmas with Kevin! I guess this is all about principle, she needs to accept that she can't always get what she wants!

I too know how the holiday thing can be, I have 5 christmases a year to do! First off, someone needs to get them a tripod if their ***era has a timer on it so everyone can be in the picture! Second, if she is still doing Christmas morning, why is she demanding that you be there Christmas eve also? She needs to realize that you have to do stuff with your family also. I'm just glad that my family is okay with not doing christmas on Christmas. FH's family does Christmas eve and Christmas day has always been with my grandmother. So my family rearranges and does Christmas either the weekend before, after or the day before or after Christmas. My grandma on the other side always does Christmas the week before. Has FH said anything to his mom about this, he should be the one to tell his mom that you already have plans with your family Christmas eve. There's always photo editing if she's being a real butt!

I'm so sorry. Sharing holidays is VERY hard. The best thing about being single was only having to worry about my family. I'm lucky because Brian's family usually does an early meal, and mine does a late meal. Kevin's Mom should understand that you're dividing your time as well as you can.
As far as the picture goes, my family is very specific, but it's fun. The picture includes...My Dad and StepMom, and any of their kids. Also the kids spouses and kids. SO, Brian can't be in the picture until after we're married. Our family is SO big, though. My Dad and StepMom each have 3 kids. Then there are 3 spouses and 8 Grandchildren. We're running out of room to fit us all in the picture!
I hope it all works out for you.

You girls are so awesome! Kevin and I just talked about it during dinner and we agreed that we would only go if it worked out and that my family's time wouldn't be compromised. He told me not to worry about dinner and to forget his moms comment about it, we are eating with my family that night! He also said that we don't even know if his mom and her new boyfriend will be together by then.
Oh, I don't care if I am in the picture or not. It just seems like it should be different, like I should be in the picture before this new boyfriend and his kids. Anyway, I feel better after talking with Kevin about it.
Thanks again for the advice!!!

Ok, I am just sick to my stomach right now! I went to the dentist for a regular check-up and decided to do the bleach tray thing. Kevin has been going to this dentist for years and he gave him the bleach trays for free and his step-mom had said that she thought they cost her about 100 dollars. So, I don't ask how much they cost, I just have them made....for 500 dollars!!!!!! I can't believe I just spent that much money, ugh! Kevin said not to worry about it and that it will be worth it in the end and I can re-use these trays for a long time since they are made from the mold of my teeth! Anyways, I just wanted to share that story! The trays should come in the mail in like 2 weeks.

Of course! I will let everyone know, the only thing I am worried about is tooth sensitivity. That is often a side effect but he recommended special tooth paste that should help! He said I should see results in a month and I have to go back in January for him to see the progress! With the whole money thing aside, I am really excited!

Ok, I talked to my photographer yesterday and he was so nice! He said engagement pictures are 100$ and that since I want them on the beach we should wait until the time changes back again. He said that the weather doesn't always cooperate this time of year and because of it getting dark so early we may have to end before we want to! Our beaches are beautiful here but unfortunately, they are often overcast! He said they should be done about a month before the wedding so I figure April or May will be perfect because it will give us 2-3 months before the wedding. I am also going to wait to have my consultation til then, I figure he is already booked, that part can wait too!

He just said with lighting and everything, I think it would be really pretty to have a sunset shot on the beach! I don't really know though! We are going to do some in color and black and white and the beach isn't as pretty when its overcast. I am so bad! I wanted to do a little Christmas shopping this weekend and I only ended up buying things for me! I bought some pink heels, a white jacket, lotions from bath and body works, a dress, and a skirt! All for about 80, which I don't think is too bad! Oh well, I love what I bought and now I get to go shopping again next weekend for everyone else!

I bought some pink heels, a white jacket, lotions from bath and body works, a dress, and a skirt! All for about 80, which I don't think is too bad! Oh well, I love what I bought and now I get to go shopping again next weekend for everyone else!
Hun you're allowed to splurge on yourself. For all you got and that price thats excellent I think. Way to go! You can shop for others just sometimes you need time for yourself. You should take pics of your purchases! LOL!

HAHA, I think so too! Oh well, I love my shoes! They are like a pink suede with a pretty high heel and they have just one thick strap right before my toes. I am not into the pointy heels, I like for my toes to show! The best part about these shoes besides being pink is that I thought they were 18.99 and when I went to pay for them they were only 6.50!!! Anyways, I also feel a little guilty because I am getting a new car in the next few weeks, :o !

I got them at Charlotte Russe and I went to their website and they didn't have them on there. The website was weird, not like one to shop from. Anyway, I will take a picture of them this weekend and post it in your journal!

Everytime I go shopping for other people I always find things that I like for myself, but whenever I go to shop for myself I can never find anything. It's weird. Your pink shoes sound cute!!! Do you have any idea what you are going to buy Kevin??? I have no idea what to buy Roy. Take care!!!

I am so excited to go shopping for Kevin, we set a 250 limit for each other and know a couple things that I want to get him! First, some new shirts because he can't do laundry  ! I am having trouble coming up with a really great surprise gift but I have a week! I love Christmas!!! I wish I had that problem of not being able to find something for me when I go shopping for me, I can always find something I like!

I am soooo upset!!! I took my ring to my jeweler to have it cleaned and he found a knick (sp?) in the white gold and said he good fix it for 25 $. I figured that was reasonable since I was planning on having it done anyway. I also have my ring cleaned a lot and I don't think the jeweler likes it. So, I go to pick up my ring today and he made the band thicker so that it can withstand the amount of cleanings that I like!! He was kind of rude about it and I don't like my ring! This is not the ring Kevin gave me, and not to sound like a bi tch but my diamonds look a lot smaller now next to the thicker band. I didn't know what to say and I was in a hurry because I had to go to school to take a final! Kevin hasn't seen it yet but I am just so sad about it! Who does that, shouldn't he have at least called to ask if that was ok????

I don't know!! Kevin and I are going to go talk to him tomorrow and see why he did that. Kevin is suggesting that we just have the diamonds put in a new band, but I just want my old band back! My sister in law to be actually asked me if I changed my ring today, so she could tell before I even told her! Ugh, I am just so upset. I know that I am probably over-reacting a little but I can see the difference. I am a very petite person and thicker bands do not look right on me. Oh well, I can't do anything until tomorrow.
Oh, and thanks for the early birthday wish! I can't wait to be 21!

You are not overreacting one bit, he did stuff to your ring that was not what you asked. He stepped out of his boundaries and that's not cool. You go and get that taken care of cause he really screwed up. I am sorry this happened, I couldn't imagine that happening to mine. My jeweler is a family friend so he would never do anything I don't want. Do you trust your jeweler? Good jewelers are very hard to come by, see if you can get a recommendation on one. And...wtf, he charged you for a ding in your ring...and $25? Ouch! Is that normal? I had my ring dipped and cleaned for $30 and that was just because it was rushed. But I do know I get some extra stuff and things he doesn't charge me for. But the $25 just seems a little steep for that.

Ok, he fixed my ring today and didn't charge me anything. I was sooo nervous to call him but I did it anyway and he told me to come in to have it fixed. I had Kevin come with me for moral support, :o . He said that polishing the ring too much can take some of the metal off and he wanted to make it thicker so it would last longer or whatever. He said making the band more narrow would not be a problem and to come back in a few hours, and when I got my ring back it looked just like it had before! Oh, and to answer your question Kiki, I really don't trust any jeweler. I hate to leave my ring there because you never know what they are going to do to it. I wish I had someone I could trust! Maybe I will go to robbins brothers for my wedding band, I don't know! This jeweler really bugs me though, I know I posted about it earlier. He doesn't think the band I want will look right with the band even though I tried one on at the mall and they looked really pretty together. Oh well, everything is better now!

you should find another jeweler.. i mean who is he to tell you if something is nice.. his job is to tell you if something is good or quality or what not but not to tell you urring is nice or not. its an issue of taste..

Thank you, no one could believe it! Oh well, its pretty again and I am not taking my ring back to him. The reason I get my ring cleaned so much is that it is a 3 stone emerald cut diamond and it shows everything! When its clean it sparkles and looks like glass and when its dirty it just doesn't look as pretty. I need to find somewhere else to clean my ring! Thanks for all of the advice!

I got a ring cleaner at a jewelry store. I'm sure it's not as good as having it done professionally, but it's a lot cheaper. I can do it right at home as often as I like.
It's called Connoisseurs Jewelry Cleaner, but I'm sure there are several. It's good for all kinds of jewelry except pearl and real delicate jewelry, but they have stuff for those too.

I'm so glad to hear that your ring got taken care of. When I hear all these problems people have with their jewelers, I wish I could have you go to my jeweler. About 5 years ago, a radio station went around san diego to 10 jewelers and took the same ring in to each one of them. They all said something different, had very different prices and charges for things that were not needed. There was one place that even switched out the diamond. My jeweler was one of the places that was tested and the radio station ***e out with the results. My jeweler did everything right and was given the highest marks and he gained almost 30% more clientele after it. When our friends moved out of state, they only get their jewelry fixed and handled when they come back to visit. It is just so amazing to hear what happens to others and how they get ripped off. Best of luck finding a good jeweler, and try to see if anyone recommends someone. Try to stay away from big names and large corporate places. There quality is not as good as what they say. I'm in advertising, so unfortunately I get to research many companies and find out how bad they really are. I bi tched out this lady at zales once cause she wasn't doing her job right. I went over to a couple that was buying a ring and told them about my jeweler...haha, she wasn't too happy and said that I talked badly about them...but I didn't I just told them about my place. Hahaha! Then she told me I was rude and I told her that I wouldn't have to be rude if she treated us right and did her job right. It was great, Ariel was with me cause it was her promise ring we took in. Broke like 5 times and they just told her that she banged it around too much. Sorry, had to tell you these stories!

Hmmm, maybe your jeweler is worth checking out, you are only about an hour away from me. If you don't mind, where is he located? Those stories you gave are the exact reason that I don't trust any jeweler. I am so scared that my diamond will be switched out, I saw something similar to what you described on 20/20 and it was amazing to see how sneaky the jewelers were. It so hard because I need someone I trust since I really don't know much about jewelry, but I do know that I will not go back to the place where my ring was purchased! Thank you so much for all of the advice, it really helps!

OMG, I didn't get back to you on this...I'm such a bish! Ok, it's called Unicorn Jewelry. He's located in Rancho Bernardo and Carmel Mountain in San Diego. The owner is Fred and he lives in my neighborhood so he's the only person I trust with my jewelry. www.unicornjewelry.com
Yeah, we're only 1 hour away or so, I go up to Orange County all the time, my Grandparents live up there. But my jeweler is awesome and if you come down to visit him, tell him I sent you, all the people I send get special treatment! ;) Only cause I'm a close family friend, and whoever I send he hooks up! Right now he is making me a custom band to match my e-ring...I'm so excited to see how it turns out! BTW, sorry so late on posting back! :(

I actually took took the idea from Kiki and NewJerseygirl, they are from http://www.nnichols.com/store/. I got them in the mail a few weeks ago and they are pretty cute. They only cost 11.99 so they are kinda cheap but everyone will love them. I want to do the bridesmaid poem that I also found on this website to go along with it:
BRIDESMAID SURVIVAL KIT
This bridesmaid Survival Kit was made just to say,
I'm thrilled you're beside me on my wedding day!
Lotion so your hands will never feel dry,
A packet of tissue in case you should cry!
Chapstick and lipgloss to care for your smile,
If a nail should break, you'll be set with a file!
A mirror to check your grin,
Fresh mints for you inside this tin!
Band-Aids in case your shoes aren't feeling okay,
A ***era for capturing the fun of the day!
All packed up inside this purse just for you,
To thank you so much for all that you do!
I hope this little gift helps you and brings you some glee,
It's just a little thanks from your bride-to-be.

Anyways, my site comes with a lot of the vendors, so today I called the florst and I'm still waiting for a call back. I also called 5 different limo companies and got quotes to go over, we should be booking it soon. I also called two different videographers and set up appointments for this weekend to meet with them! Hmmm, what else....oh, we also contacted a travel agent and are going to book our honeymoon to Tahiti in the next few weeks. I need a checklist because I am not feeling much better after writing this all out! I am also going to order my invites the first week of Feb!

Wow Jen that sounds awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate to say it, but i'm jealous!! :) We booked our honeymoon for Montego Bay, Jamaica ... where did you stay when you went there?!?!
Thanks Linz, how are you? We stayed in Sandals Beaches? Its the sandals resort that is for families, I went with Kevin and his family. You will love, love, love it! If Kevins parents hadn't of given us some money for the honeymoon I was going to try and talk him into going back there, thats how much I love it! His parents just went to Jamaica this summer (they go EVERY year) and they stayed at the Whitehouse and said it was amazing. In fact thats where we were seriously looking at before. Have you booked it yet? Can you believe we are almost down to the 6 month mark???

Have you already booked your honeymoon? We are looking at the Intercontinental (??) on Bora Bora, it opens it May and there is a slight discount for staying there plus breakfast and dinner are included which makes it a little cheaper than anywhere else. I'm a little worried about staying at a brand new place because the kinks may not all be worked out, but it looks wonderful from the pictures and the travel agent is highly recommending it. I hope that helps a little.
