I was going to have a spring wedding but changed to a late October wedding. I wanted to have turquoise bridesmaids dresses. Is this color to springy for the fall. What other colors could i use? HELP

Im having a fall wedding as well. I haven't quite chosen which colors I want for the wedding but I'm leaning towards a wine color with gold accents.

My wedding is in November and I am going with darker colors. Chocolate for the bridesmaid dresses and my dress is Ivory/Mocha. I was thinking of using pumpkins or butternut squash for my reception table centerpieces. I am also going to be doing my own flowers. Ordering roses from Costco and using probably orange/peach roses. then I am going to go get some fresh wheat and put that in with the roses.

I'm using a brick red color for my 'maids. I'm trying to say away from bright colors, and stick with the fall theme.

I am also doing a fall theme, and am going to plan on doing the fall harvest colors for bouquets. The deep reds, deep orange & deep yellows. I am not 100% sure on what to do about the maids color, but probably a cranberry color or maybe even chocolate brown.

I'm having a fall wedding and my bridesmaid dresses are apple by David's Bridal. They are going to have bouquets with deep reds and deep orange colors.

Colors that look nice with turquoise are chocolate brown, light green, and orange. (I know they look good together because I have bath towels with stripes in these colors and I love them!) If you did the turquoise dresses you could use fall flowers in oranges with greenery and maybe some brown twig to make it more fall. The orange flowers will look beautiful set against the turquoise, they will really stand out in the photos.

I am also getting married in the fall. It's mine and my fiances favorite season. The season itself is so beautiful that we are just taking advantage of that and using it as our theme. The colors are all dark, rich, fall colors. Deep reds and purples, rust colors, sage, sunflower, etc. I'm doing it that way because I believe that it's easier. But really, you can use any colors you want any time of the year. If you are set on a theme and on particular colors, don't change them just because the time of your wedding changed. It's all up to you-your the bride! It's your day! :)

I just got engaged two weeks ago today and I am pretty sure that we are going to have our wedding on October 9th (thanks giving weekend in Canada). I have to pick colours and everything still but I really like the idea pf a Fall theme. :)

It is definitely not too early! I don't think it is ever too early! LOL We started planning our March 19, 2006 wedding in October of 2004.

never too early! Especially if you have your venues in mind - a lot of times you can get a discount by booking early!

take a log and make holes deep enughf to be votive candle holders, hollow out the top of the pumpkin and place a candle in it, (not a jack o lantern) lots of greenery, and your bold colors. Serve warm foods, since fall can be chilly sometimes, if its in october have a candy buffet, since most people associate with halloween, pine cones, with twigs and berries make a pretty centerpiece. think dark wood ~dramatic with a hit of romance, honestly when i think of fall weddings i think of our local mediveal times, they have a bar area that i sometimes see as a reception area. its dark and warm and yet inviting.
