Who to choose?

I am wondering what to do... I have a sister that I know would like to be my maid of honor, but I don't want her to be because I don't feel that she would fill the position best. I would like my friend Erika to be my Maid of Honor! But, I don't want to create issues. Any suggestions???

I'm having the same problem! I decided to go with my best friend, instead of a family member. Explain to her that you would love for her to be maid of honor, but you would feel more comfortable with her just being a bridesmaid due to all of the responsibility the maid of honor has. I'm sure she'll understand, because it's your wedding. Make sure you let her know that you love her and you don't want there to be any hard feelings!

This is just my opinion on the whole idea....do whatever you please! I am at the point that I will have what I want and don't want at MY wedding....period! :-)
