Hey ladies, I'm making my own invitations for my wedding. I know that the response cards are for the guests to send back to RSVP, but what are the they supposed to say? Thanks.

I'm making my own too and my RSVP cards are postcards
(My main reason: cheaper to mail)
Mine just says:
Please respond by: __________
Name: ____________
__ Yes, we'll be counting the minutes
Number of adults: __
Number of children (under 10): __
__ Sorry, our time has been spoken for
That's it. Hope it helps you ;)

You might want to check on some of the online wedding stationary places (invitationsbydawn.com, rexcraft.com, etc.) Most of them have some sample wording choices that might give you some ideas.
Mine say:
The favor of your reply is requested by <date>
M_____________________
__ Will attend
__ Will not attend

OK.....you guys are gonna think I'm nuts, but in the response card, what does M_____________ mean? Is that to put Mr. John Smith or Mrs. Jane Doe? I keep asking people, but no one seems to be sure.

Yes, that is where they would put their names so that if you end up seperating the card from the envelope or they don't put a return address on the envelope you know who it ***e from.

That is where the guest will fill in their name so you know who is responding.
