yesterday at joann's (ok i spent 3 hours in there, i have lots to ask today) i saw that they have bags of rose peddles for 4.00 a bag. and it was about a hand full of silk flowers. IM wondering if anyone has seen on line if i can get real ones? or bigger bags cheeper(im all about cheep)
bubble machines? was 14.00 and it seemed eazy enugh to work but somone has to fill it. im sure on line these are cheeper right?
Ivy garland- was 9.00 for a 3 foot piece, somone hook me up with flower peeps.
flowers, I was going to use daisy's but realized i hate the way they looked! i think its because i fell in love with the cala lillies. but some were plastic, some were spongey, and some were silk. The spongey ones looked the most real but can i get them in pink? they only had line green/white/purple
im also looking for beads, ive decided to make my own wrap and bead the bottom of it myself. I know ebay has beeds decently priced. and joanns had 40%off fabric. back tot he store i go :)
if anyone has suggestions on where i can find some of this stuff cheeper then i wanna know hehehe if not i wait for a big huge sale!

Google Calla Lilies and you should find tons of websites that carry them. My mom and I did this and found the orange ones I wanted, which were really hard to find. I'll ask her if she remembers the site she ordered samples from. They were really nice.
Also, check your local phone book for places that carry silk flowers. A specialy shop that just does silks will offer a broader selection in more colors and they will most likely look and feel more real. I think we paid $3.95 a stem for my callas and they aren't far off from real.

Hmmm...I think for the callas and the bubble machine, everywhere online is either the same or a few cents cheaper, but then you have to factor in shipping costs. I found on ebay they have a store called efavormart that has like 1000 petals for 9.99, but once again you have to factor in shipping and I think I read something bad about them somewhere, but I'm not sure. I think Joann's sounds pretty cheap. They are definately cheaper than Michaels and Hobby Lobby, the two I've been scoping out for sales!

efavormart must be the cheapest online. I did some shopping around on other sites and the cheapest I found were on www.marilynskeepsakes.com . they were $9.50 for 425. I compared www.weddingsolutions.com , www.theknot.com , www.wedowed.com , www.weddingshowplace.com , and www.weddingchannel.com . I figured them all out "per petal" since they all carry different amounts in their boxes.

Part of the cost is the fact that they are orange. The white ones were a lot cheaper. And some of the other colors were a bit more than white, but not as much as the orange. I think the darker the color, the more expensive. *shrug* Maybe not.
My mom grows Callas in our front year, and I've compared them to the silks & the silks are so close to real, it's hard to tell them apart.
