Has anyone seen any cute cakes for a fall wedding? I can't seem to decide on what I want. My colors are red and orange colors.

I am also having a fall wedding and we are contemplating avoiding cake altogether and go with something more "fall" such as pies. We will have a pie at each table at the centerpeice. No one really admires teh big cake mukch anyway, and this way we have centerpieces taken care of as well.

Thats a cute idea. We were thinking about having a small cake along with pies and carmel apples... just little fall things for desert rather than a big huge cake that no one will even eat.

I saw a beautiful spread in a magazine for a fall wedding. It was cupcakes, with chocolate icing and red and orange flowers on top. It looked fantastic. They had them stacked on like a seven tier display - looked really yummy. Just a suggestion!

Here is a picture of our cake that I think would work well with your colors. My baker recommended only doing one color flower on the cake so it looked more classy rather than too busy with lots of colors.

cup cakes are not wedding cake! they are kids birthday's treats, im sorry treats, for smashing on your neighbors windows, and for showers. CUp cakes for wedding cakes are kinda ummm in MY OPINION cheap looking! what would emily post say?

We are actually doing some cupcakes along with our wedding cake for the little ones who are attending...like my nephews and neice...cupcakes are easier for them and makes it a little special. I dont think I would do cupcakes for the whole wedding though.

I don't see any problem with having cupcakes at a wedding. They can look just as elegant as a wedding cake and be just as tasty.

I am getting married in the fall too. This is the cake I think I want, I am sure I will change my mind again, I always do! I like that the bottom is square and the rest is round, different.

I really like that cake. That is perfect for a fall wedding. I too like the square and round variation.
