I know it's out of the ordinary, but black and white are my favorite colors. My maids will be wearing black dresses. Are black and white acceptable wedding colors?

Actually, those colors are really popular now. I am sure your wedding will look vary elegant
Black is a very acceptable wedding color in today's age. White has always been acceptable. I do not think you will have any problems with these colors. I would suggest bringing in another color for the flowers and decorations though.

I agree with eveyone else, black and white look great together and are very common for formal events. I always dreamed of having a black and white wedding dress because it is so different, but i eventualy decided to stay with plain white.

we are also doing black and white, buta hint of pearl pink everything will look great!

My FH's sister did that for her wedding. The girls wore black dresses and carried pink and white flowers. It was all black and white except the pink in the flowers and the wedding was beautiful. I am sure yours will be too!

Black and white weddings are totally hot right now. I think its a great color sceme and really elegant.
