It all began in January of 1998. I sat in 8th hour study hall as a teacher walked in with a blonde guy. A friend passed me a note saying how cute he was, and when I looked up he was looking at me. Every time I looked up he was looking at me! The next day a guy friend of mine told me there was someone that wanted to meet me in study hall. Later that day as I walked to study hall a very popular senior asked me if I was Lauren and if I knew Chris (the blonde guy). Embarrased I said "Hi" and walked into the room. My guy friend pointed to Chris and said he wanted to talk to me, but he was shy. My friend coaxed me to the front of the room before class and Chris asked me if I'd go out with him on Saturday. Of course I wanted to but he was a SENIOR and I was a FRESHMAN, luckily my parents knew his parents and I got to go out with him. I had not dated many guys ( I was more interested in farm work, go figure) but when I did we went to see movies. That was actually the reason I broke up with the guy I was with before Chris... It was boring!! :P Anyway. Both Chris and I are very shy and I was worried the night would drag on. Chris picked me up that night and we were supposed to go to the movies with a friend of his and his girlfriend. OH BOY!! As it turned out the girlfriend couldn't stay out late that night so we were going to go find something to do in town. We followed Chris' friend to his girlfriends house and headed into town a different way. As we went down a steep hill (in January when it was VERY snowwy) in his Cougar we didn't make it up the other side!!! We were stuck at the bottom. After about 45 minutes we finally got out and were laughing so hard, and covered in muddy slush that we weren't shy anymore. We went to play pool and had an awesome time. It was the best night of my life. As we dated we tried to keep the spontanaity and loved spending time together. When he went to college it was rough and we had some on and off time, but we always got back together. The last time we broke up he said "If we are meant to be God will bring us back together". We dated from January 19, 1998 until December 23, 2000 when we got married. We had talked about getting married for a while and when we found out that we were pregnant in May of 2000 we reached a delima. I was in my senior year of high school and he was a student and had a part time job. Chris set up a picnic in an area of a state park named Lover's Leap. He proposed to me on October 28, 2000. When we told our parents they were upset, but we had made the decision to keep our baby at any cost. I left school at the end of the first semester with enough credits to graduate, except I lacked one required government class. I began a mail in class and completed the requirement before graduation. Chris and I married on a snowy December 23, 2000. We had a wonderful wedding with close friends and family. In February, 3 days after I turned 18, our daughter Gabrielle Elizabeth was born. She was a daddy's girl from the begining and we are SO thankful for her. She was the first best thing to happen to us. Although we have struggled with the fact that we married at 17, and 20 we have never looked back. On March 10, 2003 we welcomed our second best thing: our son Anderyn Lars home and now we have the perfect family. My husband is slowly finishing a degree in Biology, and I am even more slowly finishing my Biology degree. We are thankful for every day together with each other and with our wonderful family we created. This December will mark our 5th anniversary!!!! :) When a friend of mine said "Wow you have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and you are 22!!" I replied "Yep when I am 40 they will be out of the house! :) :p "

Thank you for letting me tell my story!!

What a really nice story. Congratulations on your marriage. Hopefully, you can give all of us some advice on things we should or should not do when planning a wedding.
