Ok a couple of questions, when is the wedding? Ie season. For example, my wedding is this November, I hit ever after Christmas sell that I could find, all Christmas decorations were 50-75% off. My main flower is the poinsetta, I bought about 12 silk plants for $5 each, these are going to be placed all around the reception hall, they are in both White and Red. Some other things that I did was I bought a whole gob of Red Christmas bows 50 cents each, we are going to put these all around the room as well.
One of the ladies at church said that she would decorate the church for us, we are going to have Navy Red and Ivory colors everywhere, very tastefully done.

I am decorating my own reception and I have decided to go with
balloon weights(already wrapped in red foil) that cost 1.19 each and I'm attaching two balloons ( red and ivory) to each weight to decorate 20 to 25 tables.
The balloons come 12 to a bag for 1.79 each.

Hey!
If you're getting married in the winter, Poinsettas make beautiful decorations. They come in red, white, and shades in between. Strands of Christmas lights add a glow to your reception. Plants are always beautiful and can be doubled as gifts for your house party after the ceremony and reception. I hope this helps!
