We personalized each gift to the bridesmaid... My MOH likes photo frames, so we got her one and got it engraved. We also got her a bag with her name embroidered on it. We got a jewelry box engraved for another bridesmaid. We got a hat box with an engraved tag for another bridesmaid because she travels for work a lot. The fourth bridesmaid loves Tigger, so we got her a Winnie the Pooh blanket with her name embroidered on it.

I say go with what you know each one of them likes. A personal gift is such a nice touch! Hope that helps!

I got my bridesmaids jewelery. I got them diamond necklaces and earrings to wear for the ceremony. They're very simple and elegant so they can wear them at any time. I'm probably going to get them navy pashminas as well to wear since it'll be chilly and it will go well with their dresses :)

Oh, I also got their jewelry for the wedding (simple beaded necklaces but pretty) and 30 minute massages for each of them. I promised that I would get them massages when all of this was almost over, so I'm coming through on that promise...

I am getting star shaped trinket boxes that have little tokens in the that say Hope, Dream, etc. Part of the profit goes to a donation for the Make a Wish Foundation. Of course they will be engrave. That will be for the MOH and the bridesmaid. Then I am taking my MOH to a spa a few days before the wedding for a massage, pedicure and facial. I just decided this on Tuesday when I went to the spa with a girl from work and fell in love with the place.

The Star Trinket boxes are such a great idea!! I didn't even think about that. They are the cutest things, my sister-in-law to be has cystic fibrosis, so that would be extra special! Thanks for the idea

I feel bad because I was not going to really get them a gift to give to them. I bought the bridesmaids matching earings & bracelets (with their tops they can't wear a necklace) I am paying for their hair and makeup to be done the day of the wedding and then I am paying to have manicures and peticures so our nails all match for the wedding. I am paying for a suite the night before the wedding so we can all stay together and maybe I will get them those little bottles of bath stuff from Bath and body works but do you think I should do some sort of specialized gift also?

I think everything you are doing is gift enough. And they will be able to keep the jewelry as a keepsake.

I agree you are doing a lot for them, it isn't necissary to get them somthing that is personalized, as Kelly1Mickey mentioned they will have the jewelry as keepsakes from the day.

i am going to pay for their hair, make up, nails, their jewelry, but i also wanted to get something else for them...i was just going to give them the jewelry and spend a little bit more on it, but after realizing that one of my girls is a complete tomboy and wouldn't wear it ever again but everyone else would, i decided that i would get something else in addition to the jewelry... but i don't know what to get them, i guess thats something i should start thinking about...but everything i think is cute, i know she won't wear or like... i am sooo thrilled that she said she would stand up for me, i started to cry when she said yes! i'm such a dork!

Think about a cd that means something to each girl. Maybe a song you always have to dance to when you go out to a nightclub or maybe just one with lyrics that remind you of her. Since you are already spending so much, it's a little less expensive and you can personalize one for each of their tastes. Everyone loves music!

A friend of mine had a GREAT IDEA for bridesmaids gifts that was also VERY practical. She had a black tote bag for each BM, embroidered with thier initials. The bag was GREAT for carrying around necessities all wedding day (makeup, money, ***eras, etc.). Inside the bag she had a pair of cheap flip flops for them to wear during the reception/dance, and their jewelry for the wedding. The bridesmaids LOVED it and the bag was also a nice (re-usable) keepsake of the day! :)

I am getting my bridesmaids necklaces with their birthstones. That way they can actually use it again and again. Each will be different since they have different birthdays but will still be the same since the stone shape and setting witll match. I am having them made where my FH bought my ring. They are very helpful there. Aside from that I will be paying for their hair and makeup on my wedding day. I might get my maid of honor a massage or facial too since she is doing more work than the rest of the girls.

ive actually been buying things ever so often, i got my girls a journal each all by thier favorite color. their real cute, leather covered, with the pages from the outside coated in silver. all too eye catchy, too cute, then im getting their nails done and makeup, ive also already bought them a charm that i think remindes me of them, i went to james avery, and added to their collection of charms. one likes margaritas like a whole lot, so i got her a margarita glass charm, the others well a "party" stilleto shoe, a cross, and heart, two peas in a pod, a volleyball, and an angel. then, i got this magazine called "jean m. essentials" you'll could find it on ( myjeanm.com) they have the cutest black tote bag. it's got like drawings of the bridesmaids holding their flowers..etc.. you buy 4 i think and get one for myself" the bride tote" for free. like $20.00 each, not bad cause they could use it for the day of the wedding and i could also stick every little thing ive bought them in it. but mainly, im thinking of everything i like about them and what reminds me of them or what they like and finding things here and there for them.

I'm starting to think about this as well. I want to get everyone the jewelry that they'll wear as part of their ensemble, but I want to do other stuff too...I'm just not sure what. I'd like to give them a grab-bag full of all kinds of stuff. I'd like to personalize each bag for each girl. I'm having two matrons of honor, two bridesmaids and a junior bridesmaid.

I think I am going to give them their stuff the rehearsal night. I am probably going to buy them makeup & and other things from Sephora for their bags. That way they can use anything from their gift bag for the wedding day too.

I plan on either giving their gifts at the bridemaids' luncheon or the rehearsal dinner. I think the wedding day will be busy enough as it is.

I bought each of my girls there wedding jewelry of course. Then I decided to make each of them garters that are all a little different and go with the Christmas theme. I also bought them all silver charm bracellettes with a bunch of personalized charms to suit what we did together and their personalities.

I am doing a few things for my girls. I am getting them embroidered canvass bags so that they can haul their shoes and stockings and makeup to the site. I am also getting them personalized compact mirrors and of course jewelry. Their final prize will be a smaller version of the wedding emergency kits because you never know when a bridesmaid may need some needle and thread. Also each girl will receive a Thank you card in their bags. I'm even thinking about getting bridesmaids shirts to wear for the rehearsal dinner.

I would like to get my bridesmaids tote bags with their names or initials monogrammed on them, preferrably in pink and brown, my wedding colors. I also already got them pink flip flops that I found on clearance at Target for 1.50 each. I may decorate them with pink and brown ribbons for fun, or may just leave them plain.

I would also like to get them their jewelry to wear fro the wedding, but I want to find something inexpensive. I have 7 bridesmaids so it all adds up. Any ideas where to get cute cheap jewelry?

I did this for my bridesmaids - try llbean. They have little mini totes that are really cute and under $30 with monogramming/names.

I have gotten them watches, part of a his & her set that they will wear to match their groomsmen also some scented body lotion and slippers to wear for the reception, dancing can take a toll. Also depending on how the budgeting goes I am going to treat the girls to an all day spa treatment but unless FH gets another job soon that is not going to happen.
Also I got them seperate favors in addition to the ones i am handing out to everyone and it's picked specifically for them with them in mind so it's different for everyone in the wedding party. All th girls have the scented body lotion.
The MOH#1 is getting a saphire and white gold bracelet, body lotion and a whitegold necklace with her Intial also my second MOH is getting one- 1/2 of the matching watch set but also a silver necklace with her Intial and body lotion-.
The best man is getting Tommy Hill Leather Wallet, Leather card holder, and all of the guys are getting body spray from TAG, LOLOL.
Also I am putting together a mini emergency kit for the MOH's and bridemaids in case they need it, I need it, or one of the guests need it.
