My head table is going to consist of Me, FH, MOH, BM, 3 Brides Maids, 3 GM
The flower girl is going to be 6 in August and the Ring Bearer is going to be 5 In April. My wedding Date is June 4/05. Do you think that they should sit with us at the head table.
Also, where would the officiant and his wife sit? At the head table or at my mothers table?
Please keep in mind that my tables are limited. And are of wierd sizes.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

I am not sure of your table sizes or #s but the officiant can sit at any table you choose, the head table OR if you know there are others they know and are comfortable with you can put them there.
I have never seen an officiant at a head table.
As for as FG & RB, I have usually seen them sitting with their parents at their tables, not at the head table. You can probably get away with that though!
The officiant and his guest usually sit at the parent's table.
The flower girl and ring bearer can either sit at the head table or with their parents. If they sit with their parents I would make sure to keep them close to the head table. Maybe they can sit at a table next to the parents table. If the flower girl or ring bearer is either of your children then I would definately place them at the head table. I would also suggest that you ask their parents where they would like them to sit. It might be easier for the parents to help them cut up their food or whatever else needs done if they sat with the parents. The parents might tell you they want them with the parents or it is ok for them to be at the head table. Just remember if you choose to have them at the head table make one of your bridesmaids or groomsmen responsible for helping them out should they need anything (ie a drink, food cut, etc).

I would say that the FG and RB would sit with their parents unless of course their parents are in the BP. My MOH's daughters are my FGs, but their dad will be sitting near the head table, so the girls will sit with him. Mom will still be close by if they need her. As far as the officiant, I think it would depend on the relationship with him/her and who they know at the reception. A girl I work with's dad is marrying us, so I will sit him and his wife with his daughter. If my minister were marrying us, I would seat him with my parents or if room didn't allow that, then I would seat him at another "family" table.

I would say the officiant shouldn't sit at the head table...I haven't seen that done before, but you could put him there if you really want. As far as the FG and RB I agree that they should sit with their parents at the reception.
