I am having an outside wedding of about 200 people and I am looking for ideas for the ceremony music? Can anyone recomend something that worked good for their outside wedding. I have been thinking of maybe hiring a harpist or a flute player?

im with you on this-i really dont know what to do. hiring someone isnt in our budget(for the ceremony) and i really want the song 'this will be' as our recessional song, so i dont know. i dont know if having a cd player is tacky, otherwise i dont mind having one.

A harpist would be beautiful! But I think a little unrealistic for anyone on a budget. I talked to a harpist the other day that charges $375. My mom says she works with a girl who plays the harp, so we might check to see what she would charge. Otherwise, we know a lady that will play the piano AND sing (if we want her to) for $50!

$50 wow! do you think I can get her to come to Indiana for that price!! HA HA LOL!
My mom said there is a lady at her church that plays piano that may do it for fairly cheep but how in the world do I get a piano to the gulf course? I suppose you would use a keyboard instead....but do you think it would sound the same?

A keyboard should be fine because it has the features to make it sound like a piano.
