Yesterday the location I have reserved for my wedding and reception had an open house. They invited different vendors, etc....sort of a mini-bridal show. My wedding is indoors because I don't want to have to worry about the weather. We will have to walk outside though to get to the reception. I had considered the fact that it might rain of course, and had planned on having umbrellas there just in case. BUT...it was raining yesterday for the show, so I had the chance to think a little deeper into the idea that it might rain on my wedding day. I would seriously advise any brides that will have to be outside at all for their wedding to wait for a rainy day and check out your site again. I feel so much more prepared. I now have alternative photo spots in mind, an alternative door for the bridal party and my FH and I to come through when we are announced, and alternative areas for the bridal party to wait before the ceremony.
