I know you can purchase candles cheap at a dollar store. What I did though is I had a Partylite party and used my hostess credit to buy candles for free...

I am sure you can find candles cheap at the dollar store or even Target. As for old fashion glasses, I don't know. For flowers, do you know a wholesaler in your area? I'm not sure.

definitely check the dollar stores for candles. The other places to check are superstores like walmart and meijer. They're not too bad price-wise. You might even consider going to hobby lobby or michaels and making your own candles if you need a lot. As for old fashioned glasses - check your salvation army store and goodwill stores. You can really find some great treasures there!

Michaels or any crafty store like that would have cheap flowers *obviously not real*
You can also get glasses @ Wal*Mart they are usually 4 for about $2 so about .50/ea

Try having a partylight party. You might earn enough to get all your candles free. Not sure on the old fashion glassses....is this for the candles, or drinking??? I'm doing silk flowers in liu of real. I'm allergic to most flowers, plus they will stay beautiful forever. This place www.annieandcompany.com highly recommended by a friend.

Good luck!

Never underestimate EBay! I've gotten quite a few things from there very cheaply...

That is for sure! You are absolutely correct! Within this past week I have been able to purchase 120 ***eras (non disposable) and 120 roles of 35mm film for those ***eras including shipping and handling for about $1.00 per person (assuming I am having no more then 120 guests. I also have purchased 120 shot glasses for about 47 cents each (including shipping and handling) whihc I may either use as part of my candle holders (doing old fashion glass, with a shot glass in center with flowers inbetween the 2 glasses and the tealight in the shot glass to shine through the flowers) or decorate for our wedding and be part of our guests favor. I also have purchased a new Polaroid ***era for less then $9. including shipping and handling that I am going to use for my guest sign in book. I am thinking of taking pictures of people solo / groups as they enter and put it in a book and have them send a message near the picture to us - to ensure all are pictured at the wedding and place a smile with the message.

Love the ideas!!!!

If anyone has any ideas for a dessert reception or center pieces please let me know!!!!

Thanks :D
