Definately take the FH. Even though he may think it is only for the bride there are other men that will go with their fiance. The bridal shows will have things for the two of you to do together and you can also check out some of the different vendors together. This is a good way to find out what type of ideas your FH has for the wedding.

Also, I would suggest taking different members of your bridal party, your mom, and anyone else who would like to attend. My FH's mother wanted to go when we went to the one in Arizona. However, because my FH's father got sick she could not go with us.

In addition, make sure to take labels with your name, address, and phone number to give to vendors in which you are interested in. This will save you a lot of time and you will not have to fill out one of their forms.

Take a backpack so you do not have to carry all of the information brouchers, pamphlets, books, etc the different vendors hand out. In the backpack I would suggest having a notebook with plenty of paper so you can write down any information you receive while talking with vendors.

Take some water along so when you get thirsty from walking around and talking to vendors you have something to drink. Yes, they will have places to buy water but expect lines.

If you haven't bought your wedding gown by the time that you go to the bridal show make sure to watch the fashion show so you can get ideas of what you might like. Also, you might want to go prepared to buy a wedding dress as some of the wedding dress vendors will have some good sales going for the event only.

Make sure to enter for all of the drawings the show might have. You never know when they will be giving away a wedding dress, honeymoon, etc.

Arrive early, so you don't have to stand in line to wait for the other people to get in. If you can register early go for it so that you can bypass the ticket people all together.

Try the different foods that the caterers have out for samples and definately try the different cake samples. This is a good way to find the bakery or caterer you would like to use.

You will get a lot of information about the different vendors in your area. Make sure you ask any questions regarding their service so you can make a good decision when selecting who to use as the bakery, caterer, photographer, videographer, florist, etc.

Most importantly, have fun!! :)
