i think so...i have seen where you can buy sets, that come with one thats really fancy(for you to keep) and the other is a little more simple to throw.

Typically, yes - because you want to keep one for a keepsake, and the gentleman that catches it would also like to keep his as well :)

Yes, you get two. Generally the one you keep is fancier than the one you throw. As someone already mentioned some come in sets. When you buy a set the two will generally be similar with a little something added to the one you will keep. When you put them on the one your FH will throw will go on last.

Out of curiousity :confused: :confused: :confused: Since I am just now finding out you have 2 garters; the one you wear on your wedding day is that just the simple one or do you wear both?

You wear both of them. The groom pulls one off during the "garter toss" and the other stays on. He can take that off later on the wedding night and save it *grin*

Ok so since you asked about it I know everyone is saying yes you get to but you don't have to. If you want to keep one yes. But Like me...I know it will just sit in a trunk of stuff that I will never use and possible even forget is there. It just seems like a waste of money for me. so it's really up to you.
