How do I let everyone know where I'm registered? Is it ok to include a card in with the invitation? I have seen things saying that it is the lowest of the low things to do, but then others saying that in this day and age it is fine. I'd like to get some opinions on how to let everyone know where I'm registered without looking like a big jerk or a person who has no idea how things are supposed to be done.

The bottom line I've heard is that you should absolutely NOT include this information in the invitation.
You can include it on a wedsite if you wish and include the URL in the invitation as a place they can get more information(especially for out of towners) or you can use your wedding party and family to get the word out via word of mouth. Including it in the invitation is deemed impolite as though you are asking for and expecting gifts.

Is it okay to do a mass e-mail to let people know where you are registered?

I was in this situation myself a while ago. I had registered at two different stores and was unsure about how to get the word out there. I asked one of my BM's and she spoke to some ppl and the general concencious was that it is fine to put a small card in the invitation. I was going to word mine something like "for your convience the bride and groom have registered at....." Instead we got cards wtih our registry with sears. Hope this helps!

I think the tradition is that you have the MOH and your mom spread the word around. But I am not sure with web pages. Now adays, you can put the registry right on your web page and some people put the web address on a card with the invitations.
