Hello everyone.
I need some advice I have to pick my wedding cake design and I have a couple ideas but the baker wants a pic to go by and I cant seem to find exactly what I am looking for. These are some of the things I would like. I have my cake top its a bride and groom standing together with lilies and pearls. very pretty and I want a fountain in the cake well under what ever. The colors of the wedding is white silver and baby blue. All the cakes I have seen are so modernized now. I am doing the whole horse and carriage theme. Its more a traditional wedding. I am just so confused and everywhere I have looked like I said the cakes are so modernized. None of them have the bride and groom cake tops they are mainly flowers or ribbons. Let me know if you have any ideas. We are only having about 125 to 150 people. Thanks a bunch.

A couple ideas... You could have a horse carrying one of your cakes in front of a small fountain. Another cake off to the side could be the one with your cake topper. You can use some flowers around that cake to brighten it up...
A friend of mine that just got married had a fountain as part of the design around her cake. I could try to scan the photo and email it to you if you like. I will have to see if I have a good one of it too. (I would look now but I'm tired and about to go to bed).
Usually the baker has photos for you to look through. I remember that ours had about 2-3 albums full of photos. Have you looked through their photos?
I did a brief search on the internet... Check out: http://www.weddingdecisions.com/sweet1.html
It had some interesting designs... Of course you would need to go on a much smaller scale.
Hope that helps.

I would go to like wilton's website www.wilton.com and check out their cake examples - even if you can't find the one you want, find the ones that have what you want in them -take all the pictures to the baker and show him exactly what part of each cake you want incorporated. He/she will be able to work from several pictures if you're specific on what detail from each you want included in your cake.
