Shawn and I just found out I'm pregnant. The baby is due sept. 9, my 19th b-day. He wants the baby in the wedding, either dressed in the same color as the bridesmaids, or as the groomsmen.. One person in whichever group will be holding the baby...does this sound like a bad idea?

If its what you want, then do it. Just be sure to have someone available to take the baby should he/she become fussy during the ceremony.

I agree with reecey...do what you want, but just be sure someone is available to help with the baby. I was also wondering how things went you told your parents about the wedding?!?! and also, do they know about the baby yet? Anyway, good luck deciding!!!

I just told my mom about the baby on sunday, and it was shawns mom who took me to get the test, b/c i moved in with him recently. His mom is really excited. My mom was kind of indiffrent but shes warming up to it. As far as the wedding I told them that we have moe of a reason to get married now, even tho just love was good enough before, so they have accepted it. Yet again his mom is happy about the wedding to, my mom is indiffrent. We have already talked to his brothers g/f and she said she would hold the baby if it got fussy.

baby likes the hospital already!!! It had me in and out twice this past weekend. Craziness, but all in all, I have to quit my waitressing job because of doctors orders. And IM getting a telemarketing job. I no longer have to worry about the baby being in the wedding party beacause we have set the wedding date up....at least by 5 months. The wedding wilb be in either june or july, so I have a couple months to redo the wedding completly!!! But do you think simple halter dresses will be ok for a beach wedding? We are changing it to a tropical.hawaiian theme.
First of all, congratulations on becoming a mommy!! A very important part of life for all women. I hope you the best with your pregnancy and will pray that everything from this point on will work out.
Secondly, a halter type dress for a beach wedding will be fine. Try to find a maternity wedding dress so that you won't have to keep getting the dress altered and having extra expenses.
Finally, take it easy and try not to stress over the wedding or anything. Right now you need to keep in mind that have doctors orders restricting you from doing different things. Everything will be fine and you will probably have to depend a lot more on your FH, parents, bridal party, etc in helping you plan your wedding. You still have a ways to go before your wedding and before you give birth.
