Recently I have noticed a lot of people trying to ask what type of music to play at certain parts of the wedding and/or reception without giving any information of what kind of music they like or would like to have played. Please, provide the rest of us with some information about what type of music you like, what type of music you would like to have played, and any favorite singers that you like. This will help us to recommend some music that would be suitable for the wedding.
Thanks

For my wedding, i want stongs that have a lot of sentimental value played. Sure it may not be the "traditional" wedding music but it's our big day, and we want to make it as special as possible.
We both like varried music. I like almost anything except this electronic/guy who sounds like "cookie monster with a sore throat" screaming into the mic stuff they call music that's popular right now.
I've chosen everything from bagpipes (a piper friend of ours is playing Pachabel's Cannon for me as i walk down the isle) to some classic rock songs for the cerimony, to celitc canadian music for the reception. I'm also having my parents sing a song to us during the cerimony. It's a song I've grown up hearing them sing at other people's weddings, and I still cry every time I hear it, because it's so beautiful. (It's called "There is Love", I think it's by Peter Paul and Mary but I could be wrong. It also goes by "The Wedding Song"
For the reception we have picked songs that are tasteful, yet suit both our tastes in music. We're even playing some Metallica and stuff, as long as it's not "suggestive" in any way, or has any profanity.
I hope this has helped you, at least a little.
