I'm Joann. I'm 24. I work at Publix full time. And love it~~

Will is 21. He's my fiancee. He's going to school for optometry
school. He is graduating from college in May, and then going to optometry school after that.

How we met:
We both worked at Publix, I just moved up here to Jacksonville, and we started hanging out, and next thing you know we are dating.. and after dating for a month, we decided to move in together.


The engagement:
It was Dec. 15 2002 @ 7ish sometime. I must say that I was in shock when he asked me..so let me get to how he did it...

We were over painting our new house..and he said that he had to leave to go christmas shopping..I was mad that he had to leave and let me finish painting..so I hung out there for a while with my cousin, and finished it..then he calls...and asks me my ring size! How obvious! But I still didn't know if he was planning on doing it then or waiting a while..so I was all giddy..!! I had told my cousin that I think that he was gonna do it soon..we were all excited...sooo..I leave to go back to our apartment and wait for him to come home..he did, and he had the ring box in his pocket..so he ***e over to me and told me how much he loved me and how our lives were about to change for the better and that our love is neverending, and that he's so happy to have found "the one"..and then proposed! I was so happy..I called my parents and they already knew..but my dad was very happy and so was my mom...

Isn't it amazing how a song can touch your heart!?! This is mine and David's song also... every time we get in the car, he plays for me (he's so wonderful). Its so funny, our kids know the song by heart now.. if the kids hear it (no matter where we are!) they will shout out, "This is mommy and daddy's wedding song" and sing it at the top of their lungs. Its the sweetest thing I've ever heard, our kids singing our song. I wish I could record them singing, because I would have it played at our wedding.
