April 2, 2005- Jenny and Craig

Craig and I both live in Colorado but we are planning our wedding to be in Connecticut since that is where we are both from and all our families are there. Planning long distance hasn't been easy but he has been very helpful as have our families, especially since whenever we fly out to visit they drop everything to help us.

Here is what we have left to do:
* Finalize the DJ (we spoke with him, just need to sign the ppwk)
* address and mail invites
* make wedding programs (I have card stock and ribbon and will use my laser printer and a hot glue gun to create creative programs)
* First fitting for my dress and alterations
* appt for hairdresser, manicure/pedicure, waxing, etc--Day of beauty
* continue to work out at gym to keep in shape for the dress and the day
* tanning (I don't want to be paler than my dress!)
* Buy wedding gifts for each other
* buy parents gifts and groomsmen gifts (I already have the Bridesmaid items)
* Schedule dinner for rehearsal (grooms mom is helping with that)
* attend my shower in CT (only 3 weeks away!)
* Get marriage license
* meet with florist to finalize plans
* discuss with photog final schedule for that day

I think that is it for now, but as we get closer to the day more stuff is coming up. Whenever I get a little stressed out though my dog keeps me in line and makes me relax!

Wow Jenny, you are way ahead of me. I am also getting married on April 2, 2005 and Bill and I must be the most laid back bridal couple. We have a million things to get done and seems like time is getting away. We still have to finalize our limo service and most of the things that you listed. I did my own invitations and programs and have had them printed for months now, just waiting for his mother to give me her list.

May you and Craig have a long and happy life and enjoy your day. According to the Farmer's Almanca, we on the Eastern Seaboard is supposed to experience unseasonable mild weather----here's hoping for plenty of warm weather and sunshine on both our special day. :)
