So I bought my dress at Davids Bridal and expected to buy a veil along with it. The one that went with it was $300! I personally find that outrageous and would prefer to make it myself, or find a place that sells them cheaper... much cheaper! =)
Where are good places to look for A)patterns or B)cheap veils?

Look at your local craft store or Wal Mart. I am going to purchase my cathedral veil at JoAnn's Craft Store. They have a nice veil that I can personalize myself for about $15.00. It deffinately helps on the budget!

www.weddingveil.com has some nice veils at pretty good prices. Most are under $50.

Have you checked on e-bay? A lot of people that get married more than once, often try to sell their old wedding stuff. The best part is that you know it was only used once.
