Hi, I have a dilemma. I have always invisioned my wedding being light innocent colors, my bridesmaids are going to wear latte dresses with a pearl pink sash around their waste and have pearl pink and ***paigne, and cream colored flowers... however, the churches carpet is a bright red. How do I pull this off without it looking tacky or valentinesish? Please help me out! Do you have any suggestions?

Is the carpet down the aisle the problem?

You could roll a white runner down the aisle to cover up the red carpet.

My church also has a redish pink carpet and my colors are browns and bronzes. I decided there isn't much I can do about this so I'm not worrying about it, I just have to live with it. The aisle runner is a good idea but I am forgoing it also. I am a paramedic and wear work boots for a living. I am not exactly graceful in heals (I am wearing 3 inchers because my FH is so tall) and don't need the added runner to help trip me up.

The runner is a good idea, but i have another idea. It might be pricey, but just keep in mind that you waited your whole life for this day and that you only get married once.(hopefully once, lol) Okay, so what about having pink and cream colored petals down the whole aisle. I think it's a perfect touch. Think about it!!
