Ideas for themes for my colors?

My FH and i have decided to get married in july of '09, we have also decided on red and blue for our colors, just because we both like them. i do not want to do a traditional theme such as a beach theme, i also dont want to do fourth of july. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. thank you

Honestly, I don't know where all this theme stuff ***e from. If you want a small theme go for it, but then I wouldn't push the colors all over the place. The way I see it the colors can be a theme. My colors are black pink and white, and I'm just using the colors in everything from table cloths, cakes stands, and favors. If you don't want a theme don't stress over not having one.

I agree, I don't think you need a big theme. If you want to just go with your colors then do it! I agree that colors are a theme for your decorations. They bring the whole thing together and I dont think you need to have something more than that. You and your FH can be the theme too...make it about the two of you, things that are you guys and you have a theme right there :D
