My wedding is in October 09' and I was thinking about using Harvest Gold, Brown, and Dark Orange for the colors. Harvest Gold is going to be for the back of my wedding dress, the bridesmaid dresses, and the vest and ties for the men. The Brown will be used for the Junior Bridesmaids, Junior Groomsmen and Flower girl Ring Bearer. The Orange will be used for flowers and decor, along with Harvest Gold and Brown. I was wondering if anyone has used these colors and how the turned out? and where you got ideas for the decor?

That sounds like a great fall color combination.

For decor stick with the color theme and think about blending in other fall things like leaves, pumpkins and apples. Match your table linens with your colors, and you can also use things like pumpkins and leaves in combination with your flowers for centerpieces.

Work your theme throughout your whole wedding including invitations and favors. Things like gold-dipped leaves make great fall wedding favors.

Good luck, and have some fun with it!

I agree...those are great fall colors. There are tons of beautiful flowers in those colors in the fall. Using pumpkins, gourds, and apples is a great idea too...you can clean out the pumpkins and make your centerpieces inside of them for your tables...I did that for a shower once and it was beautiful. There are so many fun and interesting gourds in the fall too...make your decor unique and inexpensive :D Leaves are always a great fall touch, so colorful and festive. Maybe using the brown as your table linens and using the brighter colors as your centerpieces would be great. You can carry some part of your colors and fall theme throughout everything...maybe have a branch of leaves on your invites and programs, menu cards, place cards, etc. and have them in your decor too...so many fun things to do in the fall!
