Hi Everyone,

I have a bit of a color conundrum....

We are having a fall wedding (Sept 13/08). I would love to take advantage of the natural beauty of fall and incorporate it into our wedding colors, unfortuantely our venue is a bit garish.

The colors in the hall are two shades of teal, navy blue, and grey. The base color of the wall is ivory. The walls are covered in acoustic panels in these colours and there is waynescotting that is done in the two shades of teal on the lower portion of the walls. It is impossible to disguise the walls in any way. The carpeting incorporates teal, navy, and purple, I believe. We don't want to choose all of these as our wedding colors, but perhaps one, with another coordinating color or colors.

Any suggestions on how to incorporate my love of fall with this venue????
Help is greatly appreciated!

Karen

Just a thought. Use the fall colors (oranges, burgandys, greens, golds and what ever else) but incorporate the navy teal or purple into it too. Those two colors should blend OK with the others. This way you are bringing in the fall and drawing in the room.

Or is it feasible to drape toole or something over the walls to disquise them?
