Ceiling

Hello. I am trying to find some information on creating a false ceiling to look like the pictures I have attached. I plan to use gossamer and cover a drop ceiling about the size of smaller gym.

My first instinct was to attach the gossamer to a hula hoop and suspend the hula hoop from the ceiling, but I am not sure how to measure to get the right lengths or if the hula hoop would be the easiest way? If anyone has any ideas... PLEASE HELP!!

The hoop is a good idea we swagged the ceiling but only in 4 parts it looked nice but i suggest more to cover the ceiling better. You just start at your center point in the room or over the floor loop the fabric and let it hang down we had trees as posts to keep the fabric from being ripped down i will try to find a pic of it

I think a hula hoop might be too weak to hold the fabrics. Maybe you can find something better at Home Depot or similar store. That's a really cool idea by the way! It will look pretty! Make sure you light it well!
