South African ideas?

My SIL is marrying a man from South Africa and was thinking about having some items and whatnot to surprise him at their wedding. The only problem is she doesn't know much about their traditions and doesn't want to ask him and have him catch on. Does anyone know anything about this?

There are several things she can do. First contact a relative and ask them what are the traditions, google it or contact the embassy and ask them.
