Wedding Colors

I was just curious to see what everyone's wedding colors are. Mine are Amethyst (purple) and Peridot (green) these are our birthstones.

Wow.. that's a neat idea. :) Wish I'd thought of that. Ours are lavander with accents of yellow and sliver.

Mine are Navy, Indigo, Periwinkle and Ivory. I'm having a beach wedding, so I wanted something that would go well with the scenery.

do you mean the dress colours? sis's dress is pure white, the guys suits are black but with blue waist things ( im not sure what they called its like a sash arounf their waist) and the bridesmaids dresses are blue

Chocolate & Ivory~> (I prefer to name this Vanilla) w/ Silver... Haven't decided on floral color yet but I hope to find one in the "name" of a sweet treat! oh, I prolly just make up a "name" anyway! haha!

My wedding colors are navy blue and silver. The wedding dress will be ivory with silver sequins. The guys will wear black tuxes with navy blue vests and cumberbands while the bridemaids will wear navy blue dresses with silver hair pieces. The flowers are going to be navy blue and ivory roses and carnations with silver ribbon.

our colors are going to be either wedgewood and silver or a deep burgandy and silver, depending.

bridesmaids are wearing coral dresses;groomsmen are wearing black tuxes with coral vests. my groom and i are wearing white, and we are having sunflowers. so the colors are white, coral and yellow. we will be using mainly yellow for decorations with coral accents.

Our colors are blue (the bridesmaid dresses are Riviera sky which is a med. blue similar to cornflower) and silver. My dress is white. My fiance is wearing a kilt and it is black, white, and a thin strip of red (Moffet is you're curious). The groomsmen will wear a tux with a white shirt, silver vest, and silver tie. I thought this would be easier than trying to match blues and we can keep the blue/silver theme!!!

Mine appears to be a little...odd - it really sounds weird but looks amazing. The bridesmaid dresses are a wine color - almost really a garnet/ruby. with white and the accent color I'm using in ribbons on the bouquet and in the jewelery is sapphire. My engagement ring is a diamond with sapphire accent stones in white gold so I wanted to bring out the coloring. When I put the sapphire to the dresses, it just really worked well together - which made me extremely happy. Anyway, I think they look brilliant together :)

Thanks :) I found a tiara that has sapphires as well. I'm checking to see if it'll be over the top or just the right touch :)

My dress is candlelight ivory, the girls dresses are navy blue, the guys are wearing black tuxes w/ ivory shirts. My fiance is going to wear black accessories (tie, vest) and the others are going to wear a dark red. Our flowers are going to be dark red being used as the accent color.

Since my fiance and I met through our hobby...cars...we are linking that to our wedding. So our colors are going to be orange (b/c I drive an orange camaro) and blue (b/c he drives a blue transam). :D

Are you having trouble finding silver accessories? What have you found in silver?

No, I am not having problems finding silver accessories. I have found the following:
1.) flutes with a silver trim on them,
2.) the flower tussies (hope that is spelled right) are silver,
3.) silver ribbon,
4.) the unity candle will have a silver holder,
5.) some balloons,
6.) napkins with silver foil print,
7.) the invitations will have two silver hearts with navy print.

I have actually been looking at the craft stores and finding these items. The flutes I found at Fry's here in town that came in for the holidays.

Our wedding is in May of 2006, and the colors will be my white dress, amethyst bridesmaid dresses, black tuxes on the guys, with silver accents. its all centered around purple silver and white. I'm going to carry 6 white calla lilies, but with purple accent flowers, all wrapped in a silver irridescent ribbon. The girls will also carry white callas,but only 2-3 each, no purple flowers, and white satin ribbons. elegant but simple.
