Wow!
My gown was arrive four hours ago.It is chapel length, satin. With embroidery, lace and beading work.So gorgeous and stunning. http://www.shanghaimay.com/index.php?gOo=goods_details.dwt&goodsid=1972&productname= is the original picture of it.But it is just a replica. What beyond belief is the great quality. And fit me perfectly, since it is custom made.Btw,the total is only $195.From Shanghai,China.
Every girl will be a little nervous about the wedding gown.Eespecially the size. And color, etc. Each details are critical.I am so excited that everything is perfect.Lucky enough.:)

Well I love the dresses that all of you ladies have. I would really like to post a pick of my dress but I bought the last one from the bridal store so thats out and my fiance looks on here every once in a while so I don't want him to even see a pic of it. But I simply walked in the store and the third dress that I tried on fit and I loved it. I bought it and it was a floor model which was last years model so it was around $275

I had a really bad experience with one bridal gown shop. It was my first time trying gowns. I loved this beautiful a-line gown.. I asked the price it was $1500!!! I went home and researched the gown and it as only $450 online...new!

well, I will say I loved my dress but hated the service I received at the shop. I still bought the dress, but I will never go back to that store again. It was the David's Bridal in Orlando, FL. The one in Tampa was awesome but the consultants in Orlando act like they are doing you a favor by being there. I am sooooo making a complaint when I go pick my dress up on the 20th.

I went to about 4 different bridal shops and tried on about 30 dresses. Finally, I found a dress on the internet and LOVED it. It took some searching to find a bridal shop that had one in I could see in person and try on. Finally a small privately owned shop offered to order it in my size for me to see and try on, and no big deal if I didn't want to buy it. Turns out it was PERFECT. The ladies at the shop were so helpful so I am doing all of my business with them. Tuxes, bridesmaids dresses, etc.

Got my dress at David's Bridal - love the dress, hate the store & all the vendor solicitations I received afterwards, especially since I opted out of having them share my information.

I'm having a destination wedding, so I wasn't going to use local vendors anyway, but I still had to field a lot of calls.

I am happy to see that I am not the only ones that have had problems with David's Bridal. I don't wish bad service on anyone, but I don't feel alone anymore.

I loved the wedding boutique I bought my dress from. They were so friendly and helpful. I went to two other dress stores, one that was an expensive boutique although the staff was very helpful and the second was davids Bridal. Yuck. I hated davids bridal. Service, Selection, and atmosphere were horrible.

I know I said I didn't like David's Bridal overall, but I should add that I did buy from them because they had a great dress that was a discontinued style & a "floor model" that I got for just $249 & will need very minimal alterations.

The prices are their saving grace.

I know that is the only reason why I bought from them. Plus, I knew I wouldn't like any other dress the way I like the one I got.

I had the same issue with David's Bridal. They were rude and pushy. Once I got my dress they forgot all about me! They just gave me the dress, didn't make me try it on or anything. It was really weird. Anywho.....I love my dress!

I didn't even bother with David's Bridal because I had heard bad things about them. My sister used them, and she her experience was good. I think the small shops are more personal and friendly anyway.

Hi fayefdba,

I was wondering if you can describe the ordering process for kanacca. I am interested in ordering a gown from them too, but a little hesitant. Can you please share the details of ordering your gown (you mentioned its custom-made)? Thank you!

No problem.I am glad to share it with you.:)
You can put the order online first and the costomer service will contact you as soon as they catch the sight of it.They will ask you about the measurements, color and other details at the same time. When everything is correct, they will start to make it for you.Wow,you will get the custom made gown about 1 month later.:)

Okay, one more thing about David's Bridal.....I lost it on them today. I have gotten so much mixed info about getting my dress steamed and when I got there they told me that they couldn't do it.

Drama....I went to the manager and told her that this was the worst bridal shop I have ever gone to and that I should have paid more for a dress at a place that treated me better....I guess you get what you pay for!

She was really nice (the only good expierience I have had there) and she is going to steam my dress for free, but now I'm scared she's going to ruin it, b/c they are making me sign a waiver.

I saw my dress in a magazine (Casablanca 1831) and thought/hoped it would really flatter my curvy figure. Apparently none of the samples for that dress were in the bridal salons yet, so I called and could never find one to try on. Then, one day I tried one more, right near my house and she had it. And, it was beautiful. I just picked it up last week and it's at my mom's house. It was $600, which is great b/c it was the lowest price I found on-line as well. The people at the store were amazing as well. Now I just have to grow about 5 inches to look like this model does in the dress! : )

i brought my dress home on the 18th after my final fitting. and when i was at davids the woman told me that i could bring my dress in about a week before to have it steamed. she told me to call ahead to make sure they had a steamer open, but she also told me that it was free... she even joked saying "finally no charge for your dress"

i had heard so many awful things about DB that i was really scared to go, i live in a small town and there are not many options for nice dresses, i had to drive 1 hour just to get to davids. but i had a really good experience. all the people were griendly and helpful. i was pleasantly suprised.... im sorry youve had problems with them.

I am getting my dress from Davids Bridal also!! The first night I went in there to try on dresses I knew I was not getting one that night just wanted to get some ideas. I had found one online I liked nad wanted to try it on. Well when I tried it I fell in love with it. When the lady asked if I was gonna get it that night I said not tonight maybe in a month or so. Well thats all it took and she got snippy and rude!! The night I went in to put the dres on layaway the lady that helped me was very nice. I didnt even ask for the other lady cause of what happened before. Anyway im going tonight to pick up my dress and since my wedding isnt for another 2 years I dont plan on going to them for alterations. Ive heard bad things about them as far as that goes but for my dress I couldnt beat the price and I got it when they were having one of their sales. Heres a link to my dress http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=318&prodgroup=10

I haven't had many positive experiences with David's Bridal. At the one near my parents' house, we were assigned this Latin American lady (I think because we are Latin American also) who was very weird. My mom didn't like the first few dresses I tried on (I could tell by the look on her face but she wasn't saying anything negative) and this lady said, "Why don't you say anything? Your daughter is trying on bridal gowns!" My mom couldn't even reply, just looked at her in shock. When my bridesmaids went to look for dresses, they did not like her either. Apparently the store people saw her name under my registration so they sent her to help my girls. The girls thought she was pushy and rude! I told them to ask for someone else next time!

I ended up buying my dress at Group USA. I like them alot better! They were not pushy at all! They even went out of their way to help us find dresses (and even let my dad snap a couple pictures!). When a friend and I went to another David's Bridal, a lady there told my friend she couldn't look for a dress or touch the bridal gowns. When my friend asked why not, she replied, "Well, because people might steal the beads that fall because you're not careful with the gown." My friend was completely flabbergasted! I'm glad I did not hear that comment! Some ladies at some David's Bridal stores are nice (as per my bridesmaids who went shopping everywhere), but I haven't encountered too many of them! Sorry!

I decided to forgo the whole bridal shop thing and just go to the mall since I wasn't looking for something too fussy anyway. Well, it only took 4 hours and about 5 try-ons to pick my dress from Dillards. It is completely different from what I would have imagined myself in and it fits great which is amazing. :p

I noticed a website who is a gown seller. It's price is really attractive ebough. But im not sure about the quality. It's said the gowns from China is not as good as here, and they are fake!To be honest, the price is the most important,I think. And they are not bad at all!I don't know:(I like personal website better than Ebay.Give me some suggestion if possible.Thank you!

i bought my dress from david's bridal in nyc and i found it to be a great experience. i went online and researched gowns so i could know what i liked and what i wanted to try on when i got there. i found my dream dress after trying on three gowns. the staff were pretty pleasant; a few mishaps but everyone's got a personality! but it didn't matter because i got my dress. i also got my undergarments and veil there, but they did the alterations. overall, it was exciting and everything was perfect on our wedding day!
