I am also getting married in May! I chose a very light yellow called Butter by Alfred Angelo. Since I'm getting married on the beach, I didn't want to do blue for fear of too much blue. So i decided on yellow. I think it will go very well with my ivory dress. :o

Reading the replies was kind of freaky... I am getting married the same day also. My bridesmaids dresses are Riviera sky (from Alfred Angelo)! This color is like a cornflower blue.... Oh, and their shoes will be silver, and the tuxes will have a silver tie and vest... Guess we both have good taste!!!

Basically with May you want to go with light spring colors and nothing too dark, but it is your wedding so anything you want is fine... Popular choices are yellow, pink, lavendar, light blue, light green, and peach... However, I have heard that it is hard for anyone to really look good in peach, so I would avoid it...
